Mike is right. I saw Airplane in the theater and the whole audience was rolling. I mean side-hurting, tear-streaming laughing.😂 I had to see it again just to see if I'd missed any jokes. I didn't. They left just the right amount of time between jokes for the laughter.
OK, I don’t know if Ben was just being stupid or trying to be a smart ass but elite dangerous is not a MMO that requires a subscription fee. It is a space simulator with co-op and online features or you can play in a solo universe and does not require a subscription feeand is more a complete video game than star citizen will ever be in this lifetime

I somewhat disagree with the take that if you’re in a theater and it’s something new like “Cap picking up the hammer.” And everyone flips out that’s ok but if it’s something you’ve seen it’s not. Watching Return of the King in theaters and seeing the Rohirrim show up made my theater go wild every time I’ve seen it. Same thing with Aragorn saying “For Frodo” some things it’s totally cool for people to get hype regardless of how many times we’ve seen it.
The Metal Gear Solid 3 intro is A++

2. Uncharted 2 (train hang time)
3. MGS 3 (Big Boss's halo jump)
4. GOW3 (attack on mount Olympus)
5. Batman Arkham Asylum (Inmate check in)
6. RE4 (Where's everyone going, bingo?)
7. Mass Effect 2 / 3 (can't decide)
8. Bioshock (welcome to Rapture)
9. Ghost of Tsushima (the lone Samurai survivor)
10. Spider-Man 2018 (taking down King Pin)
Honorable mention- RDR1 (John Marston's train ride to Armadillo as we hear conversations of the passengers that's masterful world building of a dying Wild West)

I would add the Hyrule reveal after leaving the Shrine of Resurrection in Breath of the Wild and diving from the first Sky Island to the Great Sky Island in Tears of the Kingdom.

Persona 3 has one of the coolest intro sequences. When the main character is on the rooftop for the first time, grabs that evoker and says Persona.. its just badass

Yeah, Halo 2 gets my pick. Especially with that entire opening sequence introducing the Arbiter as he's being put on trial in front of the Prophets and the high council, juxtaposed by Chief getting a hero's welcome back at the orbital space station. Truly top-notch stuff.

Best intro, for me, was, mgs 3 snake eater. You start the game. Play a level and didnt realize it only just started. At the end of the first mission a song thats reminiscent of a bond film starts, absolutely breathtaking

Watched "The Phantom Menace" on May the Fourth, a full theater, for the 25th anniversary, and I loved the nostalgia, unluckily we have very little nostalgia releases here in Germany, I am checking every week

In terms of Game intro's Golden age FF on the PS1 takes the cake. Resident Evil Outbreak is also a masterpiece.
Greatest intro - Area 51 original Xbox
Have seen many great game intros over the years, but for me my favorite is probably one of the earliest intros ever made. It did so much with so little. It's the intro for Ninja Gaiden II on the NES.
That's basically a thing in Hollywood with Spirit Cooking.

as far as star citizen goes.. there is just as much user error as there is bugs and the incompetent blame their incompetence on bugs. also the amount of rumors about the game are unheard of, 45% of the rumors are over 5 years old and arnt true any more and 45% were always untrue and about 10% is true. also, the game works great but the servers don't, if you play at low pop times theres little issue. the game also needs more cpu and ram then gpu because it isnt optimized yet. its not a download and play game but once you figure it out its actually dam good and it only gets better with time so...
