Nice work learning this scale myself it's the 3rd degree Phrygian of the major scale then you sharp the 3rd degree. so Change G to G# this makes it a Phrygian dominant and it derives from the the 5 degree of the harmonic minor great scale .

@Astute Cingulus I can play by ear and I've also been studying music theory and can write in piano (cannot play it but I can compose using it) and I can play a fairly mean guitar. In college I took some music appreciation classes and really loved Bartok, Stravinsky, and Wagner. Modern players, I'm into Miles Davis, Yngwie, Vai, Satriani, and John 5. Lately I've been eating up everything Rick Beato puts out and I've been playing some MEAN, DARK stuff using the Double Harmonic Major Scale. Goes well with Cthulhu and H.P. Lovecraft themed music. I have my own full fledged recording studio and I spend a lot of time there because I'm sort of crippled and recording keeps the pain off my mind. I recently worked up all seven modes in all twelve keys to create guitar charts in order to master the fretboard. You're going to think this is the saddest statement ever but, sadly, I had never heard of this person at all. I'm listening now to his symphonies on youtube. Thank you VERY MUCH for the head's up!
