- Cronus Zen set up for controllers has changed a bit over these past few months. I try to cover the major issues that are occurring with controller set ups. Hopefully this video answers some of your questions.

I was tryna get my dual sense edge controller to stop disconnecting and what worked for me was plugging my zen into my pc and going into zen studio changing the emulator from auto to playstation 5 and going into device monitor it was showing up as pc / mobile in device monitor even when I selected ps5 from the main device tab screen on zen studio so I manually changed it to playstation 5 in device monitor and then saved the settings then unplugged and put back into my ps5 I plugged the USB for the zen into the back port this time and plugged my dualsense edge into A1 port on the zen (left port) and it works fine without disconnecting but previously what I read on the zen official discord chat was to put it on auto instead of ps5 in zen studio and connecting a regular dualsense controller into A1 and the dualsense edge into A3 but my wired headset didn't work I had no audio but what I mentioned in beginning of my comment is what fixed it for me and my wired headset works and the controller doesn't disconnect anymore also my Bluetooth is disabled on my ps5 and the communication method for the controller is set to wired instead of bluetooth

Using remote play is the only option for now

I’ve run into an issue, last night I updated my firmware to the latest. And now apex won’t detect my controller. I can control my zen with the controller but i can’t do anything in game. I’ve used my zen with t the same game pack for 2-3 years now and never had this issue until updating the firmware. The only thing that seems to work is enabling steam input in steam controller settings for apex which I’ve never had to do before. Is there a fix for this or are you required to enable steam input on apex for pc to use zen now as of the firmware update.
I brought the scuff envision pro controller..now my zen sits in the draw is its a controller that won’t work with the zen, and Cronus have emailed me to say they won’t be adding it eiether

There are still "known errors" with headsets and audio while using controllers that they are currently trying to fix.
how can connect my ps4 controller to my ps5 with the zen? it works for like 15 seconds and then it won’t work, but i can change the scripts on my zen
Do I have to use 2 PS5 controllers to connect the zen or I have to use a PS4 controller than using PS5 controller connecting to the zen

Hey i wanna know if i can download the zen studio on IMAC and setup the cronuz,in their websites it says the cronus zen requires a computer running windows,imac don't have windows
You would have to down load a windows emulator like parallel or boot camp
Did you buy your directly from there website or from Amazon?

Do u need the original micro usb for the top of the zen or can u use any micro usb u only have the long one for the pc
Any cable that fits should work. They even sell extra ones if the one in the box is defective

I’m not sure that specific one is supported. Have you checked the controller guide section from collective minds?

Is Cronus detectable by Ricochet on Xbox? Seems like 3rd Party Device notice may warn from what I understand.

Make sure your in game settings, like inverted camera look and controller rumble, ect… make sure they match the zen settings when you set the game pack up
Device monitor reads my xbox controller but I try to interact it with the zen to open the menu inside the zen and it just dosnt open the menu. I just want to be to use script on my pc with my Keybaord and mouse, can someone help? I just want to be able to run the script and use them. (I also held the pair mode on controller for 3 seconds). Lastly for the emulator output if i want to play on my keyboard and mouse do i put it as that or do i use my xbox controller since im using that just so i can use pc.
Under device in zen studio, have you tried “detect device” yet? Maybe the usb plus isn’t being synced or read?

Would you recommend always paying that little bit extra for a brand new one or are Amazon pre owned fine?
Pre owned are usually fine. You will have to unregister the device, which cost $10.00 though. I prefer being the original owner personally and that way I can send it back to collective minds if I need to

@@VuzreEU There has never been a single hardware ban from someone using a cronus zen ....on any platform. there are currently over 600K registered cronus users as of this comment. I'll never suggest you do something that you dont feel 100% comfortable with, but as far as bans go....you're fine.
@CronusChronicles So if I'm on ps3 console I set up protocol to Playstation 3 and my ps5 Dualsense should work on the bottom left port without a dualshock 3 on the left Auth port?

the only thing i know of for Mac is "bootcamp" which is basically a windows emalutor. so if parallels does that same type of thing, then yes it should work

How long is the controller that is connected to the zen? Cause i set a lil bit away from the tv and ps5
It’s the controllers cable that comes with your controller. I believe it’s 3-4 feet

Bluetooth is a feature on the zen. If you are xbox, you need an adapter though

you should be able to plug it into the A1 port. I dont believe you need remote play for PC
Yea my Xbox controller doesn’t even work on my zen so yk how the little green light turns on it doesn’t anymore my zen is all updated and it used to work but than the Xbox patch hit and it won’t work anymore

You can do it within zen studios in the "tools" tab, but the "hard reset" is done by holding down by L1 and L2 at the same time for 4 seconds and while you plug in the short inch usb cable to a computer/PC

@@bishopguy9090 chromebook cant be used. I was looking at the windows lap tops you mentioned, and I think they should work. Definitely save all your receipts just in case dude. Im not 100% sure a windows lap top will run zen studios. It might be a usb outlet issue (not enough power) or something else. Let me know

@@CronusChronicles Not sure what you mean by that. Cronus support said they’ll add support for the Envision but no time frame as to when.
