Lucio has made a deal, for one million soul, the Devil will free Eris. He is allowed to see her every thousand souls delivered.
I highly recommand learning about Eris (gemarcana.tumb...) and the ending (gemarcana.tumb...) to get a deeper understanding of the story.
Liberties were taken, the story got tweaked a little bit, but hope you'll enjoy it nonetheless :).
