No it’s a mr gasket universal cable
i got a blueprint 347 crate engine with a Holley Sniper already attached that I'm about to drop in a 91 fox. Will this configuration make it work still? Also the mustang has an AOD transmission. Will the carb swap interfere with the AOD trans?
It should interfere with it that I know of. You should be very happy with that engine ol blueprint makes a great engine!
@@lollis_garage3683 It should or shouldn't? tbh I think i might go with the same carb your running and saw screw the efi
@@dwarrenwilliams9938 shouldn’t mess with the aode.
what did you do about the throttle cable? The original throttle body was on the the other side and much longer. Did you have to swap the pedal and cable?
@@dwarrenwilliams9938 I used a mr gasket universal throttle cable from advanced auto
Can you do the automatic
I think if you do this to an auto you have to switch to a manual valve body. But I’m not 100% sure so I would do some research before starting
did you have to do anything with the ECU?
I left it in there to control gauges mainly
Cool story bro. I bet you swapped from fiber back to dial-up, too, didn’t you? 😂
29710online nah I wouldn’t want to go that slow
"Hey guys, today I'm gonna show you how to convert an iPhone 7 to a nokia...."
@@chrishernandez2490 so much hate in the comments today lol
@@lollis_garage3683 They're just ignorant. Carbureted is the way to go. They're simple and reliable as long as you know how to tune them. They make more power too but most people will debate that fact.
@@falcon6995 and one major pro to carb is hp per dollar is wayyy cheaper to do!
I'm in walhalla what dyno shop did you use ?
Fc skunkworks you can find them on Facebook!
Thanks . I have a 94 conv . GT . Gotta paint it first . Think I'm going to keep the efi though .
How much the swap cost?
Around 900 dollars for parts.
So is the stock CCRM still there?
It’s there but not doing anything.
@@lollis_garage3683 so I assume the wiring harness is tucked away somewhere? Or was it taken out?
@@96MustangBoy1 yes I tucked it 👍🏼
And this setup fit under a stock hood…
I’m doing a V6 swap to V8 swap in 98 Mustang but the engine is 289 Hi po with a C4 tranny can I do same as u did or will it be harder to do with this type of engine in my car
Should be able to do that same thing I did.
Here's how to swap from efi to carb......
Go to the car wash
old news time to talk about something else you know🤔
Yeah I really didn’t know about posting this video I’ve been sitting on it but I do have new stuff coming out!
@@lollis_garage3683 hey man that was a great detailed video on what you did to carb swap your car and I'm sure that lots of people will be able to use that as guide. I enjoyed it. But I can't wait until I get my 347 out of the machine shop so I can get it built and running so I can start having some fun with that thing. I see everyone having fun with theirs and mine is a yard ornament 🤣😂🤣 anyway keep the content coming. I enjoy all of it no matter what it is 👍🏼👌🏼
WTF WOULD YOU DO THAT .!!!!! O FUCK NO!!!!
EFI OR FUCK IT .
Lmao
Not for me
It’s not for everybody but it works great! And performs great so I’m happy! 👍🏼
