Loved your reading recap!! Fourth Wing was a highlight read for 2024 for me as well! 🖤
Edited to say I also love how respectful you are to authors when a book just isn’t for you! You give your critique without being mean, and I think that’s so great!

You and I are of the same mind 😂 we even broke our post-college reading slumps with songbirds and snakes at LITERALLY THE SAME TIME! 🤣
My obsession with fourth wing is also unhinged

I really enjoy your book videos. I studied postgraduate English at University and have ironically gone the opposite way by focusing my reading on non-fiction! Your overviews and observations are very smart and interesting. Then of course there is the lovely tapping, scratching and tracing!

Lessons in Chemistry! Yes, I was so surprised with how much I liked it. I would have never picked it up but a book club I joined picked it and I am happy I didn’t miss out!

I totally agree with you on the Dream Harbour series. This might sound strange but I feel like Hazel was mischaracterised in her own story. She came across in PSC as being the shy, sweet bookworm who would curl up by the fire with hot chocolate and a book and in CBB she wasn’t like that at all and it threw me off a bit. CTF didn’t have that great of an ending in my opinion, you aren't missing out on much. But the small town vibes are super cozy and cute! Great video! ❤

I have always just been a crime reader, really, but I want to venture into fantasy as a change of pace so I found this very informative 😊 xxx

A Discovery of Witches: the first book of which I've liked the series more. The characters in the series are more believable, and the dialogs much better. But anyways, I've read all five of them, lol. They are not masterpieces (though they have some great moments), but I'm so invested in the story. By the way, your review of Quicksilver is so well put and eloquent.

    1. I loved the Fourth Wing series. It's gripping and was a good time!
    2. I agree that the Night Circus was so good and impressed me so much!! The writing and storytelling was so fun.
    3. I didn't pick up any of those ____ cafe books for fear they wouldn't be for me, and after your review, I feel validated in my assumptions. 😂
