I went up to him at the Vortex in London years ago and told him I loved his Drumming. He wrapped his arms around me and said thank you, not only an amazing musician he's a very beautiful soul 👍
It sounds even better in that room. I was lucky enough to see him live in Boston a few times. Solo and with a group, though I can't say exactly who. Maybe Peter Brötzman or Misha Mengleberg, those type of cats.

I feel so old, often. I'm about to have brain surgery for seizures and struggling to stay motivated in my late 30's. This is incredibly inspiring.

Such a great talent- He was in Greece in 1980/ 81 already looking mature- then... So glad that he is doing fine, and in such a good shape. just great
