Erst einmal ein frohes und gesundes neues Jahr für dich und deine Lieben. Privatleben und Gesundheit geht IMMER vor You Tube und ich denke dass deine Follower dafür auch vollstes Verständnis haben.
Oh my goodness, Antoinette! What a rough season you've had! Being sick as a mom is so freaking hard. I had to learn how to depend on my family and friends when I was undergoing surguries and cancer treatment as well. It was a hard pill to swallow, but I am now grateful for that humility and realization that it truly takes a village and mom can not be everything to everyone at all times. Take care, friend and hope you are back to feeling fully yourself soon! ❤
Oh my goodness, thank you so much for your kind words! It really does mean a lot to me. I completely agree that leaning on our loved ones during tough times can be such a challenge, but it’s amazing how much support we can find when we allow ourselves to accept it. Your journey sounds incredibly tough, but I'm so glad to hear you’ve come through it with that beautiful perspective! It truly takes a village, and I’m grateful for the wonderful people in my life. Wishing you continued strength and healing as well! Let’s both keep looking after ourselves and each other. Sending lots of love your way! ❤
Please be careful and listen to your body. You're far from recovered, that's obvious. Only if you look after yourself, you can be there for your family etc. RUclips can wait. It's never as important as life. All the best wishes for the new year.
My son in law is a respiratory therapist here in America. He says the hospital beds have far more pneumonia patients than Covid or other respiratory illnesses. Take your time. It takes lots of time to recover from pneumonia. ❤
Thank you for sharing that! It's really eye-opening to hear about the current state of hospital care, especially from someone so close to the situation. Your son-in-law’s work as a respiratory therapist must be incredibly challenging yet rewarding. Pneumonia can indeed take a lot out of patients, and it's great that he's helping them through their recovery. Wishing him and all healthcare workers the strength they need during these times! ❤️
😔☹Antoinette, I am so sorry that you are dealing with this! I know the struggle and it is one of the worst experiences ever! Not being able to breath properly is so scary and being completely exhausted/in pain is horrible! I am sending you some positivity and some get well soon prayers ❤
Hayley! So great to hear from you. Thank you so much for your kind words and support! 💖 You're so right; it can be such a daunting experience. Your positivity and prayers are truly appreciated, and I'm holding onto that good energy! I hope you're doing well too! 😊✨
Hello from Florida, so sorry to hear of your illness. Unfortunately, my wife was going through the same thing you were a while back. I hope you get well very soon. My family and I are praying for you and yours.
I also got super sick once either Bronchitis and at the time refused to go to the doctor and after that I vowed to never do that again! Going to the doctor is important for peace of mind
I have a ton of empathy for you, I too have been prone to Bronchitis & Pneumonia. I had dealt with them since childhood. I have spent many evenings in the ER due to Pneumonia. I would get Bronchitis annually. They're absolutely miserable and scary. I would get major shivers from the fevers alone. I would also throw my back out from the coughing. For over 40 decades I lived by the coast, so it would get pretty humid at times. Now I live in a dryer climate and I only have had 3 mild colds within 5 years. I actually have a cold (cold#3) at this moment, and what a huge difference - I'm so grateful. No trouble breathing - the wheezing was unbearable, & no fevers! I strongly believe that the climate, elevation & air quality was a major factor. Sending healing vibes & wishing you a speedy recovery!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It sounds like you’ve really been through a lot with bronchitis and pneumonia, and it’s interesting to hear how the change in climate has made such a positive difference for you. I can only imagine how tough those evenings in the ER must have been! It’s great that you’re feeling grateful for the improvement and managing to handle colds more easily now. Your healing vibes are much appreciated, and I’m sending some right back your way! Here’s to many more healthy days ahead! 🌟
Also richtige dicke Schwarten. Weiterhin gute Besserung ❤️🩹
The same happened in my friends family: mother your age, mid November, high fever, cough..., hardly breath. Hausarzt gave normal antibiotics. Didn't help. Hausarzt sent her to hospital. Specific antibiotics intravenously for 1 week. Pneumonia needs a specific antibiotics. It slowly helped. Doctors said: recovery will take months, a horror for the mother ("without me not much works for the kids etc.). But she survived the hospital and the reduced Christmas and the time after. Still fighting the disease. Normal media didn't reported it but this winter, pneumonia was 10 or 20 times (times!) higher than in years before with high rates of pneumonia. Worldwide and especially also in Germany. When it gets worse, please go to hospital (via Überweisung von Hausarzt)
Thank you for sharing your friend's family's experience-it sounds incredibly tough. It’s alarming to hear how pneumonia cases have surged this winter, and it’s a reminder of how important it is to seek appropriate care when things take a turn for the worse. Your friend’s mother is fortunate to have such a supportive family, especially during her recovery process.
@@AntoinetteEmily unfortunately, this family has zero relatives or friends helping except me (but I had to work a lot), so this mother was like you, fighting til the last bit of energy, except in the hospital, she was forced to rest.
Hope you get back to normal soon! Stay healthy ! I just have one thing to say I don’t understand how all Northern Europeans Anglo Saxons all say the same exact thing “I don’t like to ask anyone for help”! It’s family FAMILY we would never say or feel like this ! Very sad !,but I could never understand Americans always say the same ! It baffles me ! I guess Italian, Arabs Greeks Italians Africans Asians Latinos we see family differently x Happy and peaceful 2025
Hi Antoinette, I hope you get better soon. With respect to antibiotics, I do not think that is hard to get a prescription in Germany, generally speaking. It really depends on the individual doctor, whether you get them easily or not. As far as I understand, antibiotics only help against bacteria and not against virusses, and there are risks involved with respect to resistencies. So some doctors are very strict and prescribe antibiotics only as a last option when nothing else appears to be helping. Others deal out pills like candy, especially if the patient asks for it. It is just a matter of finding a family doctor you are comfortable with.
Oh no, get well soon! It's so incredibly exhausting for the body and absolutely miserable, I can totally feel that. I had a bad case of pneumonia in 2012/2013 for almost three months which didn't respond to three antibiotics and my former GP said: "I don't know what to prescribe anymore!" and I was really upset, said I'll never set a foot in his office again and left. Found my GP after that, was examined very thoroughly, breathing test, bloodwork etc. and I was given a broad-spectrum antibiotic that was also in short supply and only the tenth pharmacy in town had it and luckily it was the right one and yet it took me almost four months to feel well again. I wish you a speedy recovery, take care of yourself! ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words! It really means a lot, especially hearing about your own experience with pneumonia. It sounds like you went through such a tough time, but I'm glad you found a doctor who could help you get back on your feet. It’s reassuring to know that recovery is possible, even if it takes a while. I’ll definitely take your advice and focus on taking care of myself. Wishing you all the best and hoping to hear more of your healthy adventures soon! ❤
I hope you get well soon. This time of year seems to be hard on people. Many people in the US this Christmas has seen many people sick also. My thoughts is the changing weather.

Do you know lavender oil? If you rub a little bit on your chest you’ll see that you can breathe much easier and if you have a cough it’ll also help. 😄 You can buy it in almost every pharmacy. It just has to be pure without any other added ingredients.

Do you know lavender oil? If you rub a little bit on your chest you’ll see that you can breathe much easier and if you have a cough it’ll also help. 😄
You can buy it in almost every pharmacy. It just has to be pure without any other added ingredients.
2-4 raw organic eggs blended with raw fresh orange juice.;-), two days usually
Take care of yourself. Not trying to be funny, but you sound like a StarWars battle droid, you definitely need more time to recover. 🍵🫖
