Awesome review. A masterpiece of a car. I own a 2013 with over 100k miles on it. No issues at all as a daily. Greetings and God bless from South Africa.
Thanks for the video. Are these still around $35k in U.S? They are amazing and I am happy they hold their price. I just sold mine for $16k USD here in NZ, had about 80k miles, great condition. I am wondering if I should get the competition package for 19k USD or get a 970.1 Panamera Turbo S. Hmmm...
Owned a 2013 M5 for 4 years. Took it to just over 100k miles, then sold it 4 months ago. Car was perfect. What am I doing now? buying another 2013 M5. These are solid rockets. If I see red buttons, or red paddle shifters, or tuning packages I have no interest in the car.
@@diangelo6686 Only if you mistreat it and follow the ridiculous oil change intervals bmw suggest (15-20k miles), find a car with good history, and do oil services every 5-7k miles and you are talking about an engine that can (and has) hit 200k miles. Some mechanical symphothy is also required mind you (like any performance car), not pushing it when cold, not flooring it below 3.5k rpm etc.
@@commantrosexetlos4700 also worth to mention - if you replace them once, it does not mean they will last forever.... the recommendation is to get them replaced every 50k miles... which is BTW the case for all M engines as far as I know.

Lmao it will break at some point. When I got mine last April I had been running e85 until like 3 months ago. Mine had traceable service records. Total 83k ish miles at the time the og fuel pump and ekps gave up. That’s a sick price. What’s the condition and spec overall?

@@limitless.M5I ended up buying a 540I over the F10 M5, been watching your videos and you inspired me to go with the 540I any tips you got on owning the G30? 🤔
@S63Jay the one on the F10 is certainly.not as bad as the horrendous X5M ones. Personally I'd recommend the M6 grsn coupe over the M5 for improved drive experience . Almost bought one before ending up buying something similar from a different brand
@S63Jay long story haha, bought quite a few cars since but at the time I bought a RWD E63s AMG with the 5.5l TT which is a similar car and alongside it I bought a 645 v8 more recently (unintentionally) thought I'd just see what they're like and got in and absolutely loved it and it was convertible and has proper rear seat space for the kids. Tried hard to mod the 6 series eg super charge it but finding someone to do the work was impossible. In the end I could either maintain it or get something more special. Got rid of the 6 series for a a V8 M3 which I use most of the time and try and save mileage on the E63 which is at 39k (got it at 15k miles 3 years ago). M6 gran coupe is still on my wish list, I suggest people look at that instead of the regular M5s
It actually is worth owning. Repair costs are not insane, short of replacing the bottom end. I do most work myself too. as long as oil consumption and engine is in good shape. Stock motors have thrown rods. I figure this one has made it 10 years. It would have blown already lol if it was going to
@@limitless.M5 yeah sorry I phrased that wrong, they’re not worth owning for me, I personally don’t know how to work on European cars and can’t really afford to throw thousands of dollars at every repair.
