Thanks PTT. U. have been talking alot about the buzz. I better get on board ,, OK I'm getting a mental.buzz looking at that white suit wow , I'm going to call u captain now .
I personally see those cracked or not clear attacks of the note when I am not focused in my corners and there is extraneous vibrations around the apature of my buzz in the center. For me most of the time is in the upper left side of lip. not always but mostly. In other words if I SUPER focus on airstream being where I need it and firm corners it works. Another thing I have seen is not having the slide EXACTLY where it goes for that specific horn and note. In other words my ear (mouth and airstream) are trying to compensate for intonation, thus bending pitches and flubbing notes in the process. If aware of these four things, corners, apature, airstream and slide position (tuning) then they typically don't crack. Easier said than done but.... Mouthpiece buzzing to drones in the car works wonders for this. Look like a lunatic at the red light but whatever works right!?
@@javierb5645 I do get very nervous and I cannot control it. I feel like I’m playing out of tune all the time or wrong notes and they’re correct 😭😭 IDK how to fix it
Hey guys. I’m a very advanced 8th grade trombonist and I’m needing a new horn because my beginner horn that I have had for two years was falling apart. I need a new horn that’s not too expensive but that is also very good for its price. Any suggestions ?
foreignboikev 1 well Jupiter or Conn horns generally are the better slightly cheaper good horns. I would rent until you own if you have that option. Bach trombones are also great if you can find one that plays well, in my personal experience they are either really good or okayish.. I always get open wrap horns, but closed wrapped horns are also good, I just prefer opened. Another thing to keep in mind is the mouthpiece if you’re going from a small shank beginner horn to a f attachment with a large shank. Good luck tho
I don’t understand how on this piece I’m doing every time I play it I always mess up at least one of the notes and it almost like goes to the wrong note and then the right one but sounds horrible and it rlly upsetting me 😿

Excellent tutorial. I'm definitely gonna try this exercise during my practices going forward.
That's a great trick. I wished my T-bone instructor showed me that when I was in college. Thank you Paul
lov u ♥ thanks for this! Greetings from Bs As, Argentina! 🇦🇷
I’m just getting started for middle school band and I can play most notes but not for more than 5 or so seconds without cracking it so thanks !
Other than just doing what you said at the beginning, how else can we practice matching our buzz?
Nice clothes.
Tips were good, too.
Nice pfp, I see you are a man of culture.

Paul, that only really works if you buzz the note before putting the piece into the horn. With respect my friend.

I found that the note would pretty much always crack around F-2 if I put too much pressure on the wrong side of my lips.
Why are the highest tow keys on the piano pushed down
But what if I’m cracking on the mouthpiece
jermy destroy your mouthpiece
jermy Find a professional trombone instructor you can talk to in person. That’s the only thing I know.
Play without your mouth piece (I am joking)
