For the big boys, a car to bring to unknown areas, it seems that this is about quality and durability, simple but tasteful. do you know if anyone has replaced the mercedes engine with any late model japanese truck engines to get better horses or higher engine revs ? I would like to find a one-mod does all set up where you get the low ratio working gears but still have flexibility for highway use up to 110 k's I imagine the truck would wallow and weave a bit at 110 k's but surely that could be fixed with good adjustable shocks ? Does the Claas transmission give you highway speed and still allow crawler gear use ?
