Nice! I like the "hammer mechanism" on the B model.
Yes, this is a interesting function but not a nice B model for me.
At 4:09 you show the holes get blocked by the black parts. This is because you put them on the wrong side of the plates. When assembled correctly, the white rubber band will be next to the dark gray beam not the light gray one with the studs and the black parts will not block the holes.
Yes indeed ! But I have correct it and find that my solution works anyway better than the original.
My gears on the pile driver didn work so I rebuild it and it did work after it

Nice video! Though I was hoping for some kind of improvement to the A model, was well. I'm very unlikely to take mine apart, the B model mechanism seems interesting, but not at all enough to unassemble my crane

Because I do not like it, it is better for me to not put in because I want to reuse the parts :-)
Is it easy to build the B after building the A model or do you have figure out yourself how to save your time and not build the chassis again?
I build directly the B model, but you can remove the turret from the chassis as shown at the end of the A book, and the start the B book.

You don’t have to separate all of the parts, because the chassis is the same for both models

Anyway, Technic line is very unequal lately. Great B models are followed by garbage like this B model...
Yes, my think is that the model A is so big and hard and repetive to build that proposing a model B completely different do not wqorth it for lego because the model a will not be dismantled by owner.
Yes, but even licensed sets vary. Unimog and Xerion had different attachements with same base A model, where 42078 had completely different (and great designed) model. I am still considering taking my Anthem apart and making C model for it. We will see...
I think it could be a nice thing because the mack has a great and large bill of material so you will be abble to create something cool without suffering :)

Tu achètes ces sets ou c'est lego qui te les donne pour en faire des review ?
J'achete trés rarement des sets, le dernier date de 2011. La plupart du temps ce sont des concours gagnés, des fans qui me les offrent ou lego qui me les donne. Mais avec lego il faut faire des reviews et on les a relativement tard.

Oui tout à fait, je ne veux pas acheter plein de set car pour moi une collection réduit permet que ça soit mieux ranger et moins de pièces inutiles, donc j’achète chaque année les nouvelles pièces (au prix fort du coup) sur bricklink. Principalement sur 44bricks ou j'ai des réductions et Brickmania qui a de bon tarif mais les pièces sont souvent sales (à nettoyer donc).

Je ne connais pas Brickmania, je vais tester 😉 car nettoyer les pièces n'est pas un problème pour moi. Petite question : 44Bricks s'appelle comme ça mais y a t'il un rapport avec le département 44 (car je vis à Nantes 😁) ?
Les tarifs sont avantageux sur brickmania quand tu as un peu de quantité, les pièces sont souvent sales et parfois avec des traces (de dents), duc oup à reserve rpour de la pièce non visible (genre noir gris mais pas jaune ou rouge). Il a aussi du new.

I have with the 42082 lego give it to me. But I think lego will uplaod soon the instructions for this B model. Because it is already for sale.

Just google it. It should be on Lego's website, but if not, there is probably a pdf somewhere else on the great bit internet.

I do not know, I have the B model instructions so this is the official, but I have created also a new C model which I will release soon.

Ils ont mis le paquet pour ce set ! dommage que ce soit beaucoup des pièces rouges :(
en fait non, en faisant le model C du set, je me suis rendu compte que ça manque de pièces rouges, il y beaucoup plus de noirs, et le rouge fait jeu égal avec le gris (peu visible pourtant). en revanche il y a pas mal de panel, mais attention la tourelle étant asymétrique, beaucoup de panel ne sont que d'un coté, il manque alors l'autre coté ce qui peut être problématique pour ceux qui veulent faire des moc ensuite avec les pièces. Mais pour le prix et le nombre de pièce, c’est une bonne affaire je trouve.

Tu trouves que 300€ pour des pièces en plastoc c'est correcte !? Moi je trouve que plus les modèles sont récents, plus ils sont chères et parfois pas forcément très justifiés...

Oui je suis d'accord que depuis quelques années les set sont de plus en plus cher, mais si tu regardes le prix/pcs, ça n'a pas beaucoup monté. Le problème c’est qu'il n'y a plus trop de bon modèle dans les 150€, soit tu as des trucs à 100€ petit soit il faut sortir 300€. Même si tu as plus de pièces ça reste cher. Et dans le cas du 42082, beaucoup des pièces sont les mêmes, il y a beaucoup de remplissage je trouve. Dans mon cas j’achète rarement des sets, soit je les gagnes soit on me les offres, ici c'est lego qui m'a donnée celui là. J’achète plus souvent des pièces sur bricklink. Aprés ayant fais aussi du modélisme, honnêtement les legos sont la passion création la moins cher car trés réutilisable. Mon stock de pièce est utilisés depuis 10 ans maintenant et je dois avoir une 10aine de set.
C'est un bon plan ça de se faire livrer des sets gratis :D (j'aimerais bien en faire de même mais je sais bien que c'est pas possible car j'ai que 16 ans (bientôt) et que ma communauté n'est pas encore assez grande je pense.
Pour ma part, j'achète aussi très très peu de sets car ils sont chères et parfois peu rentable (pièces nouvelles, etc), ça doit faire trois ans que j'en achète un par an. (Le dernier étant la pelleteuse à godets plutôt cool pour le nombre de barres de 15 !)
10sets en 10 ans je trouve ça peu par rapport au nombre de pièces et à la diversité que t'as. Fin... ça se comprend si tu fais beaucoup de commandes BrickLink =)
