Technic History:
The TECHNIC theme is characterized by the presence of axles, gears, connector pegs, and many other parts rarely seen in typical LEGO System sets. TECHNIC is still currently an active theme, and is one of the longest-lasting themes in LEGO history.
Almost all TECHNIC sets are vehicles, and thus use pieces to mimic real vehicles, such as engine pieces, suspension, pneumatic, and transmission pieces.

Kimmo Laine Mate it does not matter what age you are. I am 31 years old and I have just started building a lego technic mack anthem truck. It is still super entertaining and keeps me going for hours

It is a bit like the mk crane designed years ago but with some new features. Great job building it though I hope I could get it. It is quite expensive over £200 but its worth it for 4'050 pieces

I stop buying and mounting Lego sets for 20 years now, and I am completely lost with all those new bricks, I think I just know a tenth of all the bricks in this video... but cool set anyway !
I had the tow truck (8846) when I was, I dunno, 8 or something.
It felt as complicated as this video looks now at 47.
I don't like the modern bricks very much. When I was young you had to construct everything yourself.
There weren't any 45 degree angled pieces, you had to make 'em yourself out of whatever you had lying around.
I feel like Stadler and Waldorf now 🤣
You're right. I have the 8044, 8830 and 8835, and you can do the assembly by just looking at the whole picture (almost), now, with all these parts, all these imbrications, it's impossible.At the begining, Lego was for kids, I was 10yo when I had my first Lego Technic. Give those new sets to a 10Yo kid, he will go back to his computer 😅 I have a 7yo neveu, and lended him my old space Legos from the 80's, and he struggling a lot just for simple sets like 6872 and 6884... I can't just imagine with this one !And regarding all these new bricks, is it me or they seems more flabby ? I remember trying to remove old black pins with my teeth with lot of pain, now it seems to be a joke to assemble/deassemble ! Regards ! 😉 (sorry for my english)

Hello other LEGO fans i have a question, I am looking for a big lego set where i can spend much hours of building time in. I am a 18 years old guy who probably is not going to play with the set but will put it on a shelf as decoration. So should i get the 42082 or the 42055 or do you guys have other suggestions? please let me know! sorry for my poor english if I made some mistakes haha!

I'm interested in the movement experience. With the Mobile Crane Mk III it was very slow and painful; over engineered. The Bucket Wheel Excavator was worse - half the time it didn't work at all.
How did you find the movement with this?
