just pisses me off how so many treat her like crap, just listen to that voice , had the pleasure to her live and she was nothing but breath taking i miss her, I like floor seen her live but idk anettes voice just clicked so much more for me the softer tone and her range just chime so well with the rest of the band vs the deeper voice of Tarj floor. idk love them all but Anette was something special and DPP and Imagin are my go to albums still to this day.

You can't be serious! Have you heard Floor doing this song? It's a million times better in my opinion. Anette is not bad but her abilities are limited compared to Floor's.
The lyrics and Disney/Tim Burton style of this song and album are a better fit for Anette's voice imo. At the end of the day, it's a song written for her to sing and with her timbre and abilities on mind. Not even Floor's brutal vocals achieve to give the fantasy vibe the Imaginaerum album has which does not need Floor's virtuosity. I still like her versions too though, especially Ghost River.

I miss Anette so much. Don't get me wrong, Floor is a brilliant vocalist. But Tuomas keeps making her tone down her voice. What's the point of hiring someone with a powerful voice if you won't let her belt a bit? Anette's voice to me is very different. It's clear, sharp, and soft, all at once. This song isn't my favorite, but showcases a lot of her strengths. From the verses to the chorus, she barely takes a single breath in between words. Even when Floor sings this live, you can hear her panting into the microphone a little bit. Again, not dissing Floor. I just think Imaginaerum was Nightwish's last really inspired album. Human Nature was a downright stinker, something I didn't think possible for them.

今年に入ってApple MusicでNight Wish聴き始めた。アーティストトップ画面にある再生ボタンでランダムに聴いてたところ、良いな思った曲、調べてみたら9割はアネットが歌う曲だった。アルバム2枚しか出てないのがとても残念。80年代後半からロック大好きで聞いてるが、女性シンガーではアネットが1番のお気に入りになったかも。青春時代にあの感じた高揚感を40代後半になって、また体験出来て感無量です。
アネットがNight Wishに居た2007〜2012あたりは、自分も忙しくて音楽どころではなかった。リアルタイムで追うことが出来た方は、心から羨ましく思う。
