You know, I love your voice and I love almost everything you produce but...and this is where I'm going to criticize you a bit...I hope you take it constructively. You sang this in such a lazy way, the words weren't articulated clearly. I clicked on the automated transcript, as you should too, and you'll see how the words get garbled, even crazy meaningless by the transcriber. The guitar playing also seemed a bit rough and not your usual smooth self. It's true, I and probably everybody on here, were wondering where you'd gone, even worried about your disappearance for so long. I'd love it if you could at least write out the lyrics so we can appreciate what it is you were 'trying' to say but it's not clear. Oh boy, I'm sorry to be critical in this instance but you've produced so much better work before. I'm trying to be encouraging and suggesting you could do better than this. But maybe 'not clear' was the theme. Something to do with a plastic love? The way a lover might see us as a mannikin and not appreciate the person behind the image? To be honest, I don't know the answer. Sometimes we have bad days, and bad poetry comes through which, in hindsight, we decide is worth trashing. Over time, we just get better at the sorting, I suppose. It's Good to go for 'perfect' but not everything we produce is. It takes a bit of time and distance from the work to make a judgment...or to rework it slightly till it rings true. Anyhow, I'm glad to see you back and look forward to more. You rock, even when you seem so sad. Interestingly, I do the martial arts and one of the best ways to get good is to be a mannikin ourselves, to work our body as if pulled along by strings. We're less invested in the heaviness of our body then and the mind expands. It's kind of like how musicians say 'try something beyond what you can currently do' and thereby we stretch ourselves and learn more instead of going around in circles, feeling frustrated. In art, this means, trying techniques you've never done before. It's about cultivating nonjudgment, being OK with the trials that don't always go so well. The greatest learning takes place there, I think, even if it might not feel so great at the time. The greater the pain sometimes, the greater the relief when we find a solution. Best...K.
holy yap, this is a cover of Radiohead's Fake Plastic Trees if you want the lyrics. And imo this is a really nice cover, fits her style of singing and also is like the original version too
@@ahmedpervaiz2691 Initially, I thought it was but then, it was sung so bad, I couldn't tell... She's mostly amazing but this one was amazingly bad. Sadly. Just don't know what happened to her usually incredible self. A cold? A breakup? It was a sad day for me to listen to this...
@@kingofaikidobabes then maybe just skip it. She did awesome imo, if you like her other stuff and actually care for her doing more videos, you shouldn‘t be this critical. She doesn‘t owe you or anybody on the internet an explanation for breaks or trying different styles. And if you‘re actually worried about her and her (mental) health, then maybe don‘t put more pressure on her with those types of comments. xoxo
@@annicool4431 Mental health? Huh..? Self-criticism comes partly from knowing what's bad. Knowing what's bad comes from feedback. No artist I know who wants to get better survives on finger painting all their life. She's talented, even courageous enough to follow her own genius. But it takes resilience and a long term view to succeed, IMHO. You have to take the down times with the highs. Not to seek equilibrium, keep an even keel, is a sure way to go under. The best artists, and she's one of them, don't cave in but rise stronger from the knocks. If she's as fragile as you say, then it's a miracle she's got this far. I certainly hope someone this Good doesn't give up just because she got a critical comment on one of her not so great performances. Give me a break..! Mental health? Pff... Every artist is a little crazy, or else we wouldn't be doing what we do. Indeed, the best artists know the world is crazy, not them. Mental health..?!? You gotta be kidding me. She's got the best mental health in this sick world..!!!
