Well...as expected, the days are slowly, but surely, getting shorter, here in Virginia. Thought I'd mention, too, that I moved from Staunton, Virginia, to my hometown of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and it's much better here, than it was in Staunton. Also: For the past two days, it has only topped out in the middle 70s, on the ol' Fahrenheit Scale, at the most, and it looks to be like this for the next day or so. We won't be back up to 80 Degrees Fahrenheit, until Friday. Our lows overnight look to be in the 40s for the next two nights,vans about 50 on Friday, on the Fahrenheit Scale. We've definitely picked up some desperately needed rain over the past two weeks, and I thank God for that. We were in a Severe Drought, or, as us old-timers like to say, we were 'bout bone-dry! It hasn't been a brilliant summer but I have seen worse than this. Still no summer thunderstorm. I don't know what has happened to thunder and lightning here but it has become rarer and rarer in the last 10 years. In 2022, I didn't hear any thunder until September of that year! Have a great day.
