Great video Alex! Modified or pre-COVID G test format, you raise important points about adopting a big picture perspective in being comfortable and confident with driving especially in light of the Auditor General report. Not just for the sake of a test but in the long run and you emphasized this in previous videos. Driving such a big responsibility. I think ongoing learning and improvement is key even if it means lessons to get better at winter driving for example. I was told some full G holders come back for that type of training.
As far as people switching over to rural routes, i heard this was ongoing for many years since 80s. There were concerns about rural driving conditions being different from city which can cause some drivers to struggle. Also heard locals were unhappy with spots taken by people outside of their towns. Limiting DriveTest location by postal code can be a challenge because of limited staff and test centres, backlog and mobility. By mobility i mean some people actively travel out of their own city for work, school or family reasons.

I think it is not fair for those who passed G2 test and have to take parallel parking, 3 pt turn again in the G test. Also, for those accidents that they mentioned, was it because they didn't know how to do 3pt turn and parallel parking that caused the accidents? It doesn't make sense?
On my own status Alex, should I perform those 3 point turn, parallel parking and etc. when taking my Full G in the future even I already done during my G2 road test before?
Yes, that’s what they talking about they are planning to get back like it was before and maybe there will be some changes but for now they don’t say yet I will keep you posted my friend

Based on the news and pressure from Auditor General, it appears MTO is doing an evaluation of the modified G format and impact on the licensing system. Who knows how long the review and modified G format will last. I think it's important to keep monitoring while practicing
You know Alex, like I told you a few days ago I already did the G2 road test and I passed so, if those new rules affected my full G road test well, I will do it all again or not, maybe they consider my G2 test and they consider it.
Might as well do it early I just passed mine
I don't think they should limit the locations simply because Some locations are more busy and overbooked than other regions. If I wish to give a test and no dates are available what should I do ?

I was hoping the G test would still be modified for all of 2024 and also wanted to take it in Lindsay. But that's okay. If anyone can help me to obtain my G, it's Alex!

Where is it possible to see the statistics about a significant amount of accidents exactly with people who passed G full right after G1? Where is the proof that parallel parking and other old elements in G test can significantly decrease those cases? I'm not sure about people who drive more than 2 years in another country and were qualified to pass G right after G1 can't do such sort of parkings or emergency stop. Nothing special in that for Canada driving. So in my opinion it is absolutely unnecessary to restore old elements in the G test.
