Coast Guard Ship H-188, the second in the series of 12 Air Cushion Vehicles (ACVs) designed and built by M/s Griffon Hoverworks Ltd (GHL), UK.The 21 meters long Air Cushion Vehicle, or hovercraft, with 31 tonnes displacement has a maximum speed of 45 knots. It is capable of undertaking multifarious tasks such as surveillance, interdiction, search and rescue and rendering assistance to small boats/craft in distress at sea.
This was my great experience while I travel to frezarganj beach, West Bengal, India.
