These challenges are so much - been having a blast doing Break 80 with my wife and I, as she’s just getting into golf so it’s a great chance to get out, learn and have a few drinks! I’m a 24 HDCP and we’ve done 81 twice, 85 and …. 93 🤦🏻♂️
@@tedzink4574 Haha we can’t stop trying! It’s a lot of fun because I’m only 230-240 off the tee max usually and the forwards let me take shots and have opportunities I don’t normally have! Enjoy, golf season winding down in Michigan unfortunately 😢 lol
@ADean3182 ONLY 230-240? That puts you in top 20-25% of all golfers. I was in Upstate NY for many years knowing the end was coming, now in So. Cal, just keep going.
@@tedzink4574That’s on a rare, center face hit with a little extra juju in the swing haha! 220 seems to be the number on most driver swings. Have neck issues and needed to shorten the backswing - got more distance go figure 👀
@@ADean3182 220 is still well above the 207 average for amateur golfers. Shorter, more controlled backswing does produce more center face contact for majority of players. Good results from a potential negative.

Next time keep the elbow up, extend the lats and shoulders in one fluid motion, rotate hips, the shoulders, then release and pull hand down for follow through. Should be fluid, like you're smacking the desk with an open palm. Or Daniel's face if he was laying on the ground. ⚾
