I’m wondering how ’signature scent’ got to be misused so much, loosing all its meaning?!! ‘Signature scent’ by definition means ONE fragrance you connect with a person, meaning that they get known for smelling a certain way and no other, like an id, a signature or even fingerprint. At least the classic meaning to it. Prepared to hear ‘new generations’ take on it though!
What you explained is correct. But in the video if I am not mistaken, she mentioned signature fragrance worthy. I suppose these days with an overwhelming number of choices not many people will stick with one and stay with it for years and known for that one fragrances. It will be more like if I have to use one and if I don’t have 100 and 1 to choose from will I be happy with this particular option. 🤷🏻♀️ My two penny worth opinion if it even made any sense.
As humans we are always evolving, I try to improve on myself constantly and as a result every 3-5 years I can see where the woman I am has improved or perfected or in some case I have stayed stubborn or is still in need of improvement etc...I say this because as we evolve so does our taste in many things, for me fragrance definitely evolves with me. For example I hated scent rose in my perfume as a teen but the woman I am today loves it. Recently I bought Olympea based on Pauli’s recommendation and I thought it was okay smelling on paper or from the bottle but they did it no justice, because I sprayed it on my skin yesterday and omg 😱 I feel in love with myself 😂 Does it mean I was a liar no I wasn’t ready my nose for it changed and as of today I love it...will I always love it. Who knows but as a constantly evolving woman I look forward to discovering the new me as she gets created by my life’s journey. Paulina sharing her journey should be appreciated and not criticized because, remember just like you and me she is a evolving woman discovering herself on her life’s journey too.
I think i am one of the rare people who like the Lancome Tresor line soooo much more than the la vie est belle line. The "tresor louminous" is my holy gral and my biggest designer love
No one ever talks about Jour de Hermes, my husband bought it for me as a gift and while it took me a while to really appreciate it, it’s such a unique and classy scent. Extremely underrated.

It’s perfectly fine to change your mind once in a while and you always give it a chance. You also buy with a purpose and not buy just for the sake of making a video about fragrance house that most likely you wouldn’t like more than half of the collection. I also appreciate the updates and being honest about it. I love how your segregate it to love and like pile. Simple Chic is all about changing her mind all the time and sometimes can’t make up her mind. I put more value on reviewers that put a lot of thought before buying & responsible and thorough thought of the experience of the fragrance to them.

I have the same issue with my Salvatore Ferragamo Ribelle bottle... It's awkward to spray and gets messy. But! My bf likes it (and he hates most perfumes) so I will keep it.
I almost bought the be layered ones like a year and half ago. I even put them in the cart and just before I did the check out for some reason I changed my mind 🤷🏻♀️ now I am starting to feel it’s good I didn’t buy it.
I've also been very disappointed by the delina "dupe" by belayered. I think it has a stinky, scratchy touch to it. I must say though, I have the oil roll on by perfume parlour (also a delina dupe), and i actually prefer this one to the original (which I also own).
