The Year is 2078. I have alot of things to own up too, Sins to pay. I'm only 17. But I can't make any time go to waste. Bruce Wayne showed me a path though. One that he took when he was around my age. He told me to become something more than Vengeful for my father's Murder, be a better Batman. The Jokerz have taken over my neighborhood and the slums. Gotham is now a dystopia, has been for decades. Full of high rises and platform based buildings. A Neon Cesspool if you will. The criminal element doesn't fear the shadows anymore. Most don't believe in The Batman. But some that remember or have heard stories. Stop and look into the abyss and down the darkened corridors and alleyways. Hoping and praying that I'm not there. Seeing past the bright Neon signs and pouring rain. They hope that I'm not there. In the darkness. But I am the Darkness now.
They think I adopted the dark. But I was born in it. Moulded by it. I am the darkness
2038 is when Terry McGinnis is Batman so this is a really cool alternate story. It shows you have creativity. It's really good and exactly what I imagined when listening to this even before I saw your comment.
