But Dharni the thing is Babeli also repeated his beats too.
丘汉 u gotta count how many more fresh and daring routines one is willing to make. And Babeli did the most unexpected drop ever. It was totally crazy in live. Krnfx did good but, to us, his beats sounded too safe the whole way round. He didn't give that extra push. Anyway it was a 2-3 decision. It was really close.

shouldnt a battle be judged by the round and not as a whole? In that case you should call it a war. Just sayin...... Judge the men (or women) by the particular battle and forget their previous performance. I thought that was the point of having rounds like this. Dont bias a person by what came before
Even though KRNFX did use some of his classic beats, (which is not a bad thing) it took more skill and technique to perform his beats. Babeli had sick build-ups and structure but KRNX deserved this one.
Krnfx would have won if he did not repeat the same beat 3 times and did not use his ultimate routine, but babeli did something out of the normal and it was so fresh. Battle was super super close, but based on previous battles and comparison, krnfx lost by a scratch. You would only know this if you saw all of the battles in chronological order.
Dharni maybe iam totally wrong but it doesnt matter at all what happend in other battle.
Oh yes it matters, to a certain extent. In this battle it mattered due to different conditions and moments of the battle. You really have to be there live to understand the moment, rather than watching bits and pieces of vids and not grasping the full atmosphere of the battle itself. It's really different to watch a battle live than to watch it online. For those who have seen battles live, you know what I'm saying.
if you guys wanna know why Babeli won, please watch all battles from start to the end. Not only the finals. Decision was really difficult nonetheless.

But should not the performance of final only be considered in finals... Y is it important to consider whatever happened before finals... Just a thought
Dear I I thought the winner of the battle was decided on the battle not battles. If you think about it the gladiators won battles through one battle not the overall battles

Man its so crazy now. The level of beatboxing is so technical and advanced everyone is capable of getting a title. Its just now about stage presence, and how they choose to play their cards. I am eager to see how any more technical beats can get.
It was close, but Babeli definitely deserved to win this. All of the competitors were top notch and Emperor of Mic is one of my favorite events. Thanks for providing these videos, and congrats to Babeli!!

I rarely make comments on RUclips and I respect Babeli. But this time Krnfx won in my opinion because his beats are not just technical, he also has musicality. I'm so dissapoint by this decision.

LOL I can't believe krnfx hasn't ever won a title ever yet. He's often made it to finals but never gets the title. I think he's purposely not winning so he doesn't have to judge, really loves performing, or is trying to his name out for views instead. Him being in finals all the time is working though to get his popularity up. lol smart.
krNfx is a real beatboxer - he loves to battle. He's a star - because he has no problem to lose. He knows how good he is and he has courage. Many beatboxer resting on some victories, but Terry is a full-blooded fighter with extreme charisma and he is a gentleman.

Alright guys I know you think KrNfx won this battle, he did have more musicality and structure. However Babeli had fresher beats and material we haven't heard from him in a competetion like this. KrNfx was great but used some old beats and repeated himself a bit in the second round. I mean the "Everywhere I go" part, he used that in Eom 2011 for god sake. Overall great battle with both deserving to win, this time it happend to be Babeli!

Thought Babeli was sick, I seriously don't understand the level of hate here people... His routine was totally against the whole you have to be super technical and fast to be any good vibe loads of peeps are throwing around these days. It was new, fresh and i thought it was sick. People forget there's a lot more to beatboxing than just who can go fastest... Big up Babeli, always an inspiration

Krnfx show much more of his skills than Babeli.... Babeli always do the same thing a little bit is boring for me. Krnfx have a fantastic fluently style .and i love it . For me wins Krnfx. The judges are corrupted.
Please watch all battles from start to end, and you will know why he won. Don't just judge on 1 battle, it's not how we judge. It's so easy to just watch one battle or two and then judge on the real winner. You don't know how hard it is to judge. Only the people who were in the event live would know.
Dharni HY Dharni I already watched the all videos and it seems Babeli Dosen t shows hiis skills clearly and not deserves first place in my point of view. But really I am a BEatboxer and I know how to judge on beatboxbattle.I know the judges need to watch very good for who gives the places and this is not very easy.Respect for all beatboxers.Dave

Anyone saying Terry should have won, watch all the previous battles in this EoM of each finalist and you'll see why Babeli was selected the overall winner. The finals are treated than just a single battle. It is encompassing of all their previous rounds. Obviously their performance in this last round has a much heavier weight but their previous rounds do play a part in the final score
In my opinion krnfx should of won but I mean I know that the judges had a tough decision so I respect it.
I would of gave this one to Krnfx, but I respect the desicion.

I think that although yes, krnfx has more techniques and was more aggressive and fast , babeli was more fun to listen to. Thus acc. To me babeli was the winner. :)
krNfx's beatboxing is more intense and hardocre. Babeli's beatboxing is not the most extreme and plus he messed up a bit in his first 90 seconds.

I know a lot of you are saying KRNFX should have one but he played the aggressive fast game which is better at the world beatbox championship, but this is emperor of the mic where it's not all about how many beats you can fit into a second or breath it's more who can actually beatbox better as in a sense of music. So tbh babeli had a lot better build ups and cleaner beats where KRNFX kinda got annoying at some points but aside from that I think they were pretty even.
Sure but the only time I've seen KRNFX rightfully loose was after he had one and the person got a complimentary round it was against Kaleb Simmons and he beat boxed the lion king, to summarize it didn't have nearly as fast a pace but you saw unbelievable skill, something babeli doesn't have.

You people have to realise that it's not just the final battle which accounted towards the judges' decision.
Not a knock or anything, but is recycling of material/skills common in beatbox at this the elite level? The opening bit by Krnfx was almost identical to last bit done in 2011 semi against Dharni. Its all sick as hell either way. Just a question.

***** idk a whole lot about beatbox, but i do drum, and knowing different beats isn't hard to do. It's how complex the beats are that's important. you can almost improvise any beat on the top of your head if you have grooves, but complex beats are a whole new level.

I thought KRN should have won. Even though speed wasnt everything, his difficulty level was off the charts. Everything Babeli done seemed like a warm up for KRN. I admit that Babeli used the mic in different ways and its always a plus to keep the element in different executions to show diversity. But KRN had it in terms of difficulty and execution. If the beat seems attainable they shouldnt be in a battle.

I think if they judged on delivery krnfx would win but instead they put creativity as more important. IMO to be creative is perfectly fine, but in a battle, you need better delivery and not just do something soft. I liked how babeli went soft suddenly at the first part but for the second part his softness just became too prolonged. When you do that kind of beat you wanna suddenly explode into a powerful beat, not with words but with an actual well timed switch. krnfx should have won simply because he delivered it on a completely different level but Babeli's risk taking managed to even the odds against him(even though it STILL wasn't nicely executed)
