    Materials 🧶💙🧶
Worsted Weight Cotton (I used Capri Eco Cotton by Loops & Threads)
    4mm hook for Sleeve
    2-3mm hook for button latch
    Button
    Scissors
    Darning Needle
    Your Book
    Sizes 📏📖📏
I have created this book sleeve to be customizable to fit any book. I made 3 sizes which will cover the thickness of your books but you can also change the number of starting rows as well. In this tutorial I refer to the following sizes for my 8.25x5.5 inch books of varying thickness:
For the book sleeves features in this tutorial I chained 33 stitches to begin. You will chain the number of stitches needed for the height of your book. I did roughly 25-27 rows on the body of the sleeve depending on how the book is fitting.
Small - Base has 2 starting rows
Medium - Base has 4 starting rows
Large - Base has 6 starting rows
I did the row count for the base in even numbers so I always end up on the front side for the HDC round that sets us up to do the sleeve portion.
