30k lore is sooooo overshadowed by the heresy books, a shame we didn't get a bit more of it. this is a excellent example of how wonderful 30k is.
It absolutely is! I will continue with the main excerpts but I do want to try and find some of these lesser spoke about excerpts in the future too! I love me some 30k, pre or during the heresy.

Up late which is how I managed to catch this one so early! Good job. If I was casting an animated 40k movie, I’d definitely cast you as Perty, as I think you really captured his voice.

Just like before your words are elegantly spoken in such a rhythmic way to almost be angelic for a mere mortal man to converse, your heart is etched into single syllable and pronunciation to reveal a golden light of true oratory skill just as the Great Angel would have loved

Religious Zealots do not make compelling characters
I think they can do if done correctly, but the framing certainly has to be very different!
I tend to go to 30k for very human stories lost in a massive, tragic narrative and 40k for world building and customisation and working on my own creations.
