Just make sure it’s vinyl not screen printing.
exactly what i was just thinking
@@ToniNov25 What’s the difference and how can we tell ?
@@julissacortez4593 Vinyl is a bit shiny and looks like a plastic sticker,
Screen print looks and feels like paint, you can easily make out the difference between the two. Hope this helps :)
TY i wanted to remove the letters off of my jake paul hoodie lol
I’m glad it worked for you!
Same but after I do it, it leaves the print material and you can tell from the hoodie material
Bro same lmaoo I’m trying to remove letters from my jake Paul hoodie too😭
Lol, I came to remove the words off of my Maverick shirt😂
😭😭😭
your voice is so soothing
Thank you so much..

Hello Army 💜💜
Hi Army’s:)
Armyyy
I tried the acetone and it worked perfectly on removing the vinyl and it did nothing to the shirt. Thanks for sharing it was awesome
I'm so glad it worked for you
@@ToniNov25 Will this work on a jiujitsu Gi?
Will it work on black clothing? Like will it do anything to my black hoodie
I did not work for me left glue on my shirt
@@brittanygarcia6515 same here. I came back to see if someone else had the same issue and how to remove it...
Thank you. I spent over an hour this afternoon trying to remove a vinyl logo with a stream iron and damp cloths. No luck. After watching this, I went to Walmart. Spent $1.05 on a bottle of Acetone. In less than 60 seconds the logo was gone. No damage to the shirts. Many thanks.
Thank you sooo much for sharing!! I just ruined my son’s summer camp shirt. And now, thanks to you I can fix it.
It really stinks those people didn’t pay you.
Marika Young yeah it was a mess but now I have made my money back on these videos and I used 20 of the shirts for my clients and I still have 30 shirts!! I got my money back and more so to be honest praise God the didn’t pay me! I would of made these two videos and gotten these views and I learn some cool stuff in the process! And a lot of people have been help .. it’s really been neat how it all turned out!
OMG, thank you thank you thank you! Perfect for remove vinyl for reusing thrift store clothes for cosplay
I’m glad you tried it!
You seem like someone someone everyone could get along with. Thanks for passing along the tip on acetone!
Thank you
Right she's awesome ☺️
This is literally going to change how I buy clothes now. Awesome content! Thank you!
You can also put the Acetone on the opposite side of the design / turn the shirt inside out and pour the acetone on the design.
It can reach the glue part of the design faster.
Ahhh thanks 😍👍🏼
thank you for this!! a band i liked turned out to have an abuser so i wanted to removed their logo :)

Wow I didn't know you could do that, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing! This saved me a lot of money. I had to remove a little piece of vinyl that I didn't see before I pressed the entire design and I wasn't sure what to do. I watched this video and thought I would give it a try since I saw how easily the vinyl came off. It worked like a charm. Thank you. Thank you.
Wow I so glad your tried it out. ..
I subscribed! If your vdos are this helpful I’m excited to watch! This was short and simple. :)
Thank you Lorena! That's so helpful! I have several decent t-shirts that I got from work but they don't pay me to be a walking billboard but they're nice shirts.
This helped so much! I was able to remove the vinyl from an old hoodie!
I'm so glad it worked for you really.
My husband was given a nice carry-all lunch bag with several compartments and a logo on it. I refuse to be a walking, free advertising bill board. Your suggestion worked in less than 2 minutes. The vinly bubbled up a little and I pulled it off easily. Thank you
I’m so glad it worked for you.. sometimes people think it’s vinyl and it really is screen printing..

You are my hero!! I use heat to remove vinyl and it works well, but it leaves a residue. Running to the store now to pick up some acetone.
I always wanted to be wonder woman... hehehe... I so glad it worked for you...
This worked extremely well! I bought a replica of a ball from a TV show but it had the shows logo on it and I was able to remove it so now it looks more accurate to the show

This is the easiest, most effective way I've seen! Thank you so much!!!!
Glad it helped!
@@ToniNov25 I actually haven't tried it yet. I don't have any nail polish remover because I don't paint my nails, but this method is way easier and faster than the way it's done in other videos. They use an iron, which I also don't have, and it didn't appear to even work in some of those videos. The next time I go to the dollar tree I'm getting some polish remover! Thanks for the idea! ♥
I watched a different video that suggested to buy that vinyl removing product and I'm so glad that I Didn't and that I had stumbled on your video.
I used acetone that I just so happened to have in the house and it worked amazingly well, I'm so happy! I have saved some money and time if I'm honest! I had to remove some numbering off my boyfriends shirt (which he has been hounding me to do for months) and I thought the whole process would be too long winded which is why I put it off for so long, but it was super quick, and now he will be SUPER HAPPY!!
I did that one but then tried this one out!
I’m subscribing just to hear your voice 😉, thanks for the tip!
That so funny but thank you for subscribing.
Right
i love how ur still responding after a few years !!
Yes of course! I really try if I see a comment!
Thank,,to you,,

Never I mean never start a order till you get the money. I've learned that lesson twice
well he paid for the shirts and usually clients will pick up their shirts. this guy was just a jerk.
So I can basically get old tees n print new stuff on them now :D thank you this was rlly helpful
You should do that outside. a lot of that stuff can cause damage to your lungs. I don't know if you remember Liberace, he had a show on tv and played a piano, he used cleaning fluid on his clothes and wound up in the hospital here in Pittsburgh from breathing in the fumes.
Thank you for letting me know.. I didn’t know that.. I’m in open space with window open .. but yes.. I will be careful..
You are my hero right now. I had a new light olive dress that had advertising on it that I didn’t like right in-between the Star Wars logo, and it came off with acetone and a Q-tip!
I’m so glad it worked for you😊
thank you so much for this video. i was wondering the same thing / looks like it works!
It really works very well! Thanks a lot! Happy here 😉 One tip: protect your hands and nails
I just tried on a hoodie, the vinyl came off but not the glue. no matter how much i used the glue is still there.
I usually rube the area with the glue a couple of times with a cotton fabric... and if it doesn't come of I heat press a different design on the top of the area.. I don't know if you are able to do that?
Thank you for the great video! I've had some nice (but work-branded) polos for some time now; can't wait to finally use them!
Thank you it worked an I had just made a mistake an look it up an your page popped up!!!!
I hope you try it and it works out for you.

Thank you for sharing! So excited I got the vinyl off some leggings!

Yep - that's really helpful (just put a hole in a damn sweater all to no effect). And wow - this lady's voice is SO soothing.
Sorry .. thank you for the voice comment😂😊
Important question. Can you repress the shirt. Should I wash it first. I'm guessing I should...this really works by the way
I washed mine but make sure you remove all the glue. if their is glue from vinyl it will leave an imprint if you repress.
I am today years old and I wish I knew this before I purchase that $22 (VLR) stuff, lol. Acetone will be used from now own. I'm so glad to have come across your video, Thanks for the info.
I’m glad it helps
thank you for doing this video!! awesome!! i needed this!
I'm so glad that you liked it and that it helped.
Thank you so much, I just need to remove the vinyl label from one shirt and didn't want to buy that expensive remover so again, thank you!
I hope it worked for you!
Hey! I have a couple of questions for you: did you tried on other fabrics? how about the smell of the fabrics after?
The fabric was ok.. the smell kind of disappears. I tried it on several cotton shirts. I also tried it on poly and cotton shirts.
Lorenas did it stain any of those materials?
No it didn’t stains them at all..
@@ToniNov25 Can I do that on a logo on gym shorts ?
Holly Cow...! Yes is worked on the vinyl lettering I'd added to a webbing strap. There was a little 'ghost' of it left, but okay with that as I plan on covering it up. Thank you for posting.
Buy your acetone at a hardware store like Home Depot or Lowe’s
I get it at dollar general or Walmart. do you get more...when you buy it at Lowe's ?
@@ToniNov25, Yes, you can get a quart for about $8 and a gallon for about $17 at home depot. Edit: I assume Lowes would have similar prices. Also, thank you for the video, I have a really nice warm jacket that has some ugly logo on it from a crappy band that I want to remove, I am going to give this a try!
Awesome! I bought a sweater for my son because I liked the colors but I didn’t like the logo. Your video was a big help thanks!
Thank you so much glad it worked
Thank u ima try this on my new hoodie I got made, they did it wrong 🤦🏽♀️😩
let me know if it worked for you...
Hey Sheena! I was planning to use this on one of my hoodies too. Did it ever work for you?
Thanks sis, you sure saved me a lot of money, I was about to see how to purchase the big white and green can. Wow, I'm happy
I’m so glad I helped.
If I try it on a white shirt will it leave a stain?
Try in an under seam and see if it stains.. but I’m not sure the vinyl does stain the shirt when it’s pressed.. it may leave stain due to vinyl not the remover.
i brought a hoodie from someone who is problematic now so thank you so much for this. i spent way too much money and can how customize the hoodie after taking the vinyl off ♡
I hope it works out for you.
Will this also work on sweatshirts?
if its cotton I believe so... do a test swatch on the inside seam somewhere to see if the fabric stains or burns.
Great tip! Here's another-- wear a vapor mask and/or work outside in the breeze. 💟 ...That worked so fast, too, no waiting time!
you're so cute! we stan.
😊 thank you
Thank you ! Thank you! Thank you !!
you saved my life . Did a last min t shirt for a friend and it went all crooked .
Thanks! My fiancie was going to throw away his old employee uniform shirts but I didnt want to throw away good cloths! (I know he could have donated them but since it's a uniform we didn't think I'd be a good idea.)
If it’s vinyl it will come out!
Acetone nail polish really works! Thank you for this
I’m glad it worked for you!
omg thank you. i was just about to throw out my wardrobe because designs seem too juvenile. now i can keep my shirts but save the colors.
I glad you tried it.
Thank you so much!! I bought a shirt from Ebay and it has words on the back. I am going to try!
Thank you so so sooo much for this video. I just tried it out and saved a great quality shirt💗💗💗

I know this is an old video but im definitely going to give this a try. Was given a huge box of shirts from work and i want to take the vinyl off so this will be awesome if it works
I hope it works for you
Thank you for the tutorial, yes that other chemical is expensive. I got it online, it stained my garment & not all the print came off
👀😳🙄🤷♂️🤦♂️
Acetone here in new zealand is relatively cheap, $7 to $5 a bottle. Thanks again, I'll get some tomorrow.

Awesome so glad it worked for you!
THIS is the cli i was looking for. Thank you! FYI, it seems acetone also comes in gel form, which might make it less messy.
Woooow. This is awesome. Appreciate you sharing this gem!
Your so welcome..
Have you tried this on polyester? Trying to get rid of a worn down logo on a soccer jersey but not sure if acetone will react differently from a cotton material
Awesome! I love the $1 price !! Thank you!!
Nail polish remover works great too. Even if it's without acetone
by any chance do you know if you have to wash the shirt before adding the new dtf to it ?
The acetone disappears or drys out completely .. but I would was and you may need to add a logo or so ring in the area you remove because you may have an imprint on the fabric from the vinyl .. I hope I answered your question.?!
Would this be ok to use on athletic material? For instance my MIL bought me some climacool soccer shirts but they have w weird logo and numbers on the back and I want to try to remove them.
Usually numbers on jerseys are screen printed on yes you can remove it vinyl and screen printing but try a swatch on the inside seam.. also with screen printing wet the number let it soak then try to rub the paint off.. it does make a mess of screen printed keep rubbing the paint off and keep adding the acetone till all has been taken off.. just know screen printing will make a mess.. just keep working the paint off and it will get removed!
You and that viewer rock! Thanks- and subscribed!
Thank you.. I hope you like my other content..

Hi! You have a lovely voice. I was wondering if it would work using nail polish remover?
thank you so much.
Acetone is great stuff for cleaning, auto-body work, etc; But you should use rubber chemical gloves - the stuff enters blood stream right through your skin and will violate your liver. Cheers!
Thank you..
