You are literally the best Spanish teacher on RUclips. Thank you so much for what you do!
Huh? She went on and on and on and on and on and on …😡
We just call it patience. Repetition is key to memorization @@minhtringuyen-xf8he
You're such a joy, Ana! You make things so much easier to understand. Thank you!
Espero que lo recordemos todo.
Bien hecho. XD
I just started Spanish...I m so lost ..but madam is so cute in teaching Spanish
Why the “lo” here? I’m confused about this
@@user-cj3ps1hv6h I think he's simply saying, "I hope we remember it all," as opposed to, "I hope we remember everything." But I do agree: I think the "lo," while not incorrect, is unnecessary in that sentence. From what I know (and please correct me if I'm wrong, native speakers), it could be perfectly fine as, "Espero que recordemos todo."
@@user-cj3ps1hv6h it. I hope we remember it all - mas o menos...As you see, in both languages you can omit it and the sentences are also correct.
You are lovely , funny, the best teacher anyone can have.. you make the lesson so unbelievable great. Just love your presence
Necesito muchas más clases así. Gracias Ana!
You have the most infectious personality. You dropping that marker was so funny and sweet. You’re an awesome teacher! These videos have taught me SO much! So grateful!!
Espero que estés bien
Thank you for your lesson. I think one thing to explain to make it easier to understand is that as an English speaker, we do not always say the word "that" in the sentence. For example " I hope you are well?". However if we think rather to say, " I hope that you are well," which also ties up with the word "que" in Spanish. This makes it easier to know when to use the subjective. I also struggle to know when to use the subjunctive.
there's something about her I really enjoy. Espero que ella enseñe para siempre.
Que tengas un buen día!
Muchas gracias! Espero que siga creando videos tan útiles y maravillosos❤️
Thank you for your time and for helping me review Spanish and for making it so interesting. I studied Spanish in school but many years have passed and I kept up with the language by listening to latin music. Now I am planning a trip to Latin America. Gracias, Ana.
Hi Ana, do you have a recommended outline of your lessons that needs to be followed in chronological order?:)

Thank you for all these videos Ana 🙏🙌 they're much better than my formal classes!
Thank you so much ma'am
Hola a todos. Por favor, educate family, friends and acquantances to be more understanding and NO mean when not English speaking people make mistakes. Spanish speakers are nicer with you when it comes to broken Spanish. So please take this into account. Nos encanta ayudarlos. Saludos desde Latinoamérica.
Muchas gracias ⭐️
You are in my top 3 of spanish teachers. I always go to the others first and then I come to you when I want to learn from a native speaker.
For a native English speaker, the Spanish subjunctive makes no sense. It simply must be memorized. I am not saying it (though I believe it). My wife, born and raised in Venezuela, states it. She teaches an immersion program, English and Spanish. First grade. The young kids can get it, but adults, not so much. Me gusta las clases que le dan. Son buenisimos. Gracias.
Espero que sigas haciendo videos muy buenos y enseñando español. Tambien espero que estés bien, Ana.
Great class. Thank you 🙏.
Gracias Anna
¡Gracias maestra! 🍎
I understood this class about the subjunctive much better today after rewatching it again. I first watched it in August when you posted it. The subjunctive has really done me so bad in my quest to learn Spanish but now I think I am finally beginning to come out of the woods. Thanks a bunch for this class you did here about the subjunctive.
Ana, muchas gracias!
Is it just me or is she somehow an even better teacher when she gets 😡 ?? Never ever again will I say espero que te gustA... Thanks for your classes!!! Love them ALL

You crack me up! The way you get so excited about having us "get it"! Like today's lesson when you told us you are going to have a ton of stomach aches and be in perpetual pain if we use the incorrect tense! Espero que presente mas lecciones. (Sorry, I don't have accents down on my computer yet!)

Estoy en camino al nivel intermedio alto. Empecé en este camino con Butterfly Spanish y varios cursos cortos en mi ciudad hace quizás dos años y medio. Me estoy haciendo mayor y las cosas toman mucho tiempo, pero nunca dejaré de aprender. A veces estoy visitando tus lecciones para refrescar mi memoria. ¡Muchas gracias Ana! Saludos desde Cardiff, Gales.
I couldn't live with myself if I gave you a stomachache, thanks Ana.

Ana, Butterfly Spanish is my favorite channel on RUclips! I love how your teachings help me soak up so much of the Spanish language. I'm so happy I can be in my room and take your lessons haha Gracias for todos! Love from South Korea
Awesome.
Ana, I promise to say Espero que te guste! I don't want to cause you a stomach ache! And I still want to attend your lessons!
I started cracking up when she pointed her finger and said:
"you are not to say *espero quete gusta*"
Lmao!

Love from India
very good
Great work, I appreciate the clarity of your explanations, espero que poder hablar con fluidez muy pronto :)
Espero PODER.
@@eiodintotalistli8448 ah
Hi P4Piano, If you wanna use "que" after "Espero" when talking about yourself you'll need to add "Yo" (I) before the subjunctive form of the verb... you could say "Espero que YO PUEDA hablar con fluidez muy pronto"... but it sounds better the way you wrote it, but without "que" (Espero poder hablar con fluidez muy pronto) Spanish is my first language but I like to watch Ana's videos, lol
@@CenicerosPedro Great I appreciate the feedback!
Muchas gracias signorita! 73+ CANCER FIGHTER! DC
Hola Ana,
Esta es una lección muy útil, pero espero que no me "castigue y me obligue a quedarme afuera durante las próximas tres lecciones" cuando me escuche decir la palabra equivocada.
Creo que realmente necesito "utilizar mi memoria", pero mi memoria se ha utilizado tanto a lo largo de los años que creo que se ha agotado.
Sugerencia: tenga cuidado con el uso del dedo medio para señalar el tablero.
Realmente, sin embargo, una muy buena lección.
(Traducido con google.)
Thank you for this video. Can you prepare more classes with subjuntivo exampels. Subjuntivo in typical daily language.
Many thanks :)
Thanks this helped a lot. For some reason the subjunctive theme is difficult for me to learn.
Don't try to reason it out, just memorize it.
Espero que te accurdes.. Gracia's. soy mazhar
Good lesson Anna
I tend to think of the Subjunctive as ‘poetic’ (not factual ) as compared to ‘prosaic’ (factual)
Is that a valid, albeit not exhaustive, way of thinking of this subject?
I really like you, you are a star
Same if you say “Espero que Juan (proper pronoun) estés bien” correct? Great lesson.
12:01 🤣🤣 my upsetness made my drop my marker!!
It did :)
Ana, also what the difference between ojala que and espero?
Hola Buenos dias de donde iris las Islas de Filipinas
Okay quick question, espero (I hope) indicates an uncertain possibility. But what about in its reflexive, where it’s changes the meaning to an expectation true to the speaker? In that case, I think it would function like “no dudo” where the modifier has eliminated the doubt. Can you confirm if it’s still triggered or not?
