Just drove this route today 5 Sep 2024. It was all green with absolutely incredible views, with waterfalls and everything. Pictures and videos do this scenic drive no justice. You really have to see this in person to take it all in. No fog, thank God, which I can imagine would make this a scary drive, so drive safe! Going on day 5 of 8, driving around the island and this has been my favorite part so far. Iceland is incredible! ❤
