Nokia N95 8GB Review - Ringtones, Themes, Camera, Symbian 3D Games Resident Evil, Crash Bandicoot

- Опубликовано: 5 сен 2024
- In this video we are going to Review Nokia N95 8GB released back in 2007. Some old school ringtones, a few themes, video and photo test with his 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, and the most interesting part, we are going to play some 3D Symbian games such as Pandemonium, Resident Evil Degeneration, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Cart 3D, Asphalt 3, Karmagedon and Truck Racer 3D.
The SymbianOS experience brings back a cool late 00s vibe, little bit buggy sometimes, and for sure we can reflect on how much phones evolved over the years.

The rich kid tech backpack in 2007:
N95, PSP, an iPod and a G-Shock watch.
Haha, that's true!
This is kinda "consumer" grade price.
@@epicmetodmaybe because you never felt hungry while fridge is empty
Back in 2007 for me a 300 usd psp was some dream impossible to happen.. a medium salary back then in my country was the price of the psp
@@ConstantinTech I feel you! It was the same for me in when I was a child in Bulgaria!
Stay cool!
Wow, I didn't expect that this phone could handle such games. Honestly, I would have been blown away by this phone back in the day.
Exactly! 3d games on your phone back in 2007 was something. Probably i would stay at home all day playing games back in the day. Thank you for watching!
Same
@@ConstantinTech I was born 2007 lol
This is best gaming phone of that time 😅
One of the best phones I've had
I can still bet nokia had the coolest games back then ... nokia is emotion
Gameloft games hits different!
@@ConstantinTech That's what I meant to say , Nokia phones mostly had gameloft games
They even had ubisoft games like prince of Persia if I remember.
Gangstar city or miami club also
@@ConstantinTech fr
Back in 2007 my cousin's dad used to have this phone. When I saw my cousin playing 3D games with this phone I was so jealous of him. My dad only had a java phone back then. 3 years later I finally had a N70 but I still wanted the 3D games on N95 lol. This phone was truly ahead of its time.
playing 3D games on your phone in 2007 and being able to rotate the screen with the gyroscope was something ahead
Best and most complete "buttons" phone from history...
Thank you for watching!

Still got mine and still works great
When someone bring us back in that time where everything was so better then now, I would take that chance and never go back in this time now. Old school phones, playgrounds, old school cars, and old people. We are missing old times.
In the old days, everything was more beautiful, more fun, we enjoyed the little things as if more. Nowadays, everything seems to be monotonous
@@ConstantinTech Yes, and whole world goes wrong way...
through my content that I make on RUclips, I want to present to people the technology of yesterday, not to forget where we left from, and for those who caught those times, to share the pleasant memories of those times.
@@ConstantinTech just go on, we are hungry for old memories 😃
@WildWolf-bb3yh more new videos on the way!
Cool games. It feels like I'm watching the relaxing end tho
Thank you for watching! ❤️
Yeah
I was in highschool back in 2009 maybe had a n72 symbian v3 maybe -loades all kind of Gameloft games asphalt series , assassins creed etc etc , counter strike vrally multiplayer -those were the golden days
What was your favourite game back then?
Symbian games have lovely ps1 graphic
That's true!
Thats n-gage games. Most of Symbian games were slightly better than java. But Symbian 3 games were on ps1 level, right
@@natalya_volochay soon i will play some symbian games on an Nokia 5800 XpressMusic
@@ConstantinTech One of the best games, were polarbit games, like toon warz, wave blazer, some game about planes. But my fav game was the big roll in paradise
*PS1.5*
You didn't do the camera justice
When lens is clean no scratches its pretty good its unbelievable for 2007
Awsome review
That's true! thank you for watching
12:33 he actually frightened :D look at the hand shake :D
Haha yes! I got jump scared
It was more advanced than the phones we have today. Playing these games with keys gave a feeling of playing on a console.
N95 was a real portable console.. so advanced
the memories of owning one all came back
For some people was a dream owning this piece of tech back then..
The first symbian game I played was brothers in arms earned in blood on my then Nokia N70. That was when I knew symbian had great games. Back then around 2014. I then later got another Nokia 6120c, a third edition symbian phone. I played real football 2008 3d HD on it. It was lovely.
One of my favourite game is for sure Pandemonium, i used to play this game on Sega Saturn console, it's a great experience playing on N95 as well!
Brings back so much memories!
Thanks for this video. 👍
You welcome Ashraf! Don't forget to subscribe!

One of the best Nokia phones
For sure! Was a beast for that era
I hope I could see one some day
These games were much more enjoyable than todays microtransaction games.
you had to pay one time and after that you just enjoy the game! now you pay for a game and still have to pay for extra content.
@@ConstantinTech Yup! Totally ruined mobile gaming.
This phone aged like fine wine , i remember my first nokia n70 back in the day when i still don't have to worry about my future ,just playing around and be amazed of how awesome this phones are before android
Good times with great phones! We used to enjoy much more phones back in 2000s, much fun to play games.. life seemed to be easier then, wasn't it?
@@ConstantinTech it was . Good old days meant to be just memories now.
I had the 7610 , my friend had the 6610, his brother had the N-gage back then. Those were the days when tech seemed awesome.
Cool phones! On my wishlist both!
I hope this style of phone will be released again
Maybe one day smartphones will be fun again!
Yes bro same thinking what good days that are 🥹🥹🥹🥹❤❤❤
The first king of smartphones
for sure N95 had an impact in smartphones evolution
this WAS my phone pre smartphone era and indeed i was able to play fun titles. I have found memories
That's nice! Do you still have that phone?
this is technically 100% smartphone
@@epicmetod exactly! if you can send emails and watch videos and play 3d games and you also have GPS, for sure we talk about a smartphone
@@ConstantinTech I think so, next to the box of random cables and old digital cameras
Nostalgia! Awesome video ❤
Thanks you for support! New videos on the way!
I had one of these back then, and playing games on it was literally astonishing. I miss these days tho, I vanished the phone.
What games did you used to play on your Nokia N95?
@ConstantinTech I liked playing 3D games mostly. WWE, Asphalt, etc. I also remember playing a counter stike clone that was insane 😳
@alpizzayer asphalt 3 was awesome!
Bro nokia was really ahead of that time 👌🏻
For me nokia in 2000s was such a great company, even much cooler than nowadays Apple
resident evil Gameplay 💀 11:08
did you like the gameplay?
@@ConstantinTech Yes, it was great❤️
I still own one and this is such an amazing phone
It's a cool experience to play on this phone, back in 2007 this phone was a true portable gaming console. thank you for watching Bill!
Best symbian horror game 7days salvation i played Nokia n95 8gb and N73 both are beast❤
For sure i'm going to try this game!
@@ConstantinTech try it's horror game
Ah... Symbian, wonderful memories.
what memories could you share with us? and what game?
@@ConstantinTech In 2011 almost 2012, me and my dad traveled a lot due to his job, back then he had a Nokia N95 and had given me a Nokia N8 for my birthday (He was also a Nokia fanatic, lol). I previously had a Nokia 5200 XpressMusic and the change was really impressive! I remember my dad always played soccer games on his phone and because of that I was always looking for games on the internet.
I remember countless nights playing Asphalt Urban GT, Real Football, Raging Thunder 2, and there was also a stealth style game that was possible to connect in multiplayer and we always played together with my dad but I don't remember what it was called and I couldn't find it.
I also remember that there was a problem with certain GSM cards and it was possible to have unlimited internet, at that time it was really expensive to have data packages or roaming and by pure chance I had one, so I can say that I spent golden days. It's a pity that nowadays there are so few memorable moments with a technology as saturated as smartphones.
By the way, thanks for your videos!
They're a hug to the soul! 😄
I used to play tony hawk, ashen, xmen , one ,etc. On my nokia symbian phone. What a great memory ❤
Tony Hawk? That's crazy! I didn't know that we have Tony Hawk ported on symbian
@@ConstantinTech Yes, Tony Hawk Pro Skater You might want to look it up.
@judasbelt6785 for sure I will try this game, probably I'm going to record also for you guys
I've played asphalt 3,4,6 in a nokia keypad phone, playing games in a keypad phone is another level experience.let me be honest i love keypad phones
we were used to small numeric keypads back then. A completely different experience
I have the N95 (the one with sd card slot and camera protector) and i want to play resident evil so bad
Last week I purchased an exact model as you described, soon new video!
Nokia and blackberry could be competitor till day , if they had prepared themselves for future
Let's hope one day Nokia will come back in the market with something revolutionary
@@ConstantinTechlol not happening or should I say they won’t be touching apple though
Legend of the phone 🤳🌟
true! n95 was and it's still a legend!
Symbian os casually running high quality games (at that time) is a much bigger flex than any modern day phone running any PC quality game.
I used to play all the street fighter and gangster and asphalt and anything in between and the phone didn't even drain, the damn phone was 3y/o at the time I got it (Nokia 5233)
That's why I say Symbian OS and Symbian smartphones are underrated.
imagine owning this in 2007 ...you would be the richest kid in class
Much smaller and portable than the PSP
Love that phone it felts to be on the future
this phone was ahead back in 2007 for sure
I really like old games, simple but fun, nowadays there are lots of good games but they can't replace the memories of the past
Mobile games these day will pop up promotion in game purchases every minute. They just want us to recharge more and more
nowadays I don't like that games seem to be made only to produce money and take money from you. back in the day games were made to be fun, game developers were trying to earn reputation, not just money
That's true! They only want to take your money, and in most cases, the game they sell isn't even worth the price they ask.
Great! In this phone you can play nokia N-Gage games, and if you slide the screen in the opposite direction you have access to the multimedia buttons, for a better gaming experiences in landscape mode!
that's true! a great experience if you play in landscape mode! did you know that n95 got accelerometer sensor? if you flip the phone from portrait to landscape will automatically rotate the screen
@@ConstantinTech yes, and the directional cross can act as a gamepad 👍🏼 🔝
My first symbian phone
Nice to hear! this model was very successful. you definitely have good memories with this phone. Thanks for watching Kentang!
My mom had it, i remember play game into it.
Do you remember what games did you used to play?
i used to play Quake 1+2+3 on my nokia N95 8GB also some emulators Nokia Was Legend back then❤
Quake on Symbian? Cool! I want to play on my N95. For sure I will install soon new games on it and review on RUclips
wow interesting , resident evil 4 ps one style
Same graphics quality
why you don't play 7 days salvation, hell striker ii and lament island
its Legendary Symbian games
More symbian games comming soon, I have a bunch of symbian phones for review
@@ConstantinTech ok, im waiting for it
i had a s60v2 phones (6600) but its kinda slow to play games, not good enough for gaming needs, so i want to buy n82, best s60v3 gaming devices 😁🤌🤌
I remember playing carma on my nokia 6600 and asphalt 5 ❤
That's awesome! What other games did you used to play?
When it came to ringtone they made sure ❤
the sound quality also was amazing on this model! dual speaker back in 2007 was something!
I would have love to have it
You can still find some unit on internet, ebay or flea markets.
People from Iraq call on this device sniper because it's massive zoom
Back in 2007 this phone was used as a telescope? Interesting!
When i watch cartoon in that os in like 2008, it feels really like magic
Do you remember what cartoons did you used to watch back then?
@@ConstantinTech tom n jerry
That's cool! Some classics. I used to watch clips recorded by myself while I was explore my grandparents garden.
i used to shoot some stop-motion animation with transformer toy and short movie with my cousin, such beautiful and memorable days😢 @@ConstantinTech
Wow! I did something similar. I used to put my nokia 6070 on my rc cars, stick the phone with tape on the car and record my room from the floor..
I'm disappointed that it seems it's not the original ROM on this model. All the games are .sisx files, I would assume, and the original one made for the N-gage platform that come with the N95 8gb (lots of joy filled hours were spent gaming on this phone ) but the N-gage files were better and would make use of the media key for A and B button function along with the D-pad. One Sequel is still my favorite, zeroed, and replayed so often. Gaming on iPhone never came close until devs started porting over console quality phone games. Really, the sis, sisx, jar, and n-gage games were just good fun.
Yes, on N-Gage platform I didn't find any games when I purchased this Nokia n95 so I installed few games from the internet, I wish I could install some games directly from N-Gage platform but they shut down the servers. Thank you David for watching! 🫡
Wow, these games look cool! Even Resident Evil is on this device? That's awesome! I honestly never knew about the Nokia N95 until now. I would really love to play these games in 2024😀❤
There is another model similar with this one, Nokia N70 and soon I will make a new video playing symbian games on it! Thanks for watching lhy1989
@@ConstantinTech That's good to know! I haven't heard of the Nokia N70 either (since I was just a kid back then), but I'll be sure to watch your next video to see how Symbian games run on it. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work!✌️

Back then phones used to be cool, different, you had a lot of options.. these days right now almost every phone can do the same thing..
I was looking for this cell phone to buy at the beginning of 2010. They told me that it had been discontinued quickly because it had a factory problem with the audio.
For real? That's interesting! And what model did you buy eventually?
@@ConstantinTech A cheaper phone Samsung M2710
How did you manage to play RESIDENT EVIL? 11:20 do I have to do anything to access the N-Cage?
I didn't use N-Gage to play resident evil. You can download the game from the internet, and if you want to run it without N-Gage you have to do some settings. Search on google " How to Run Unsigned Applications on Your Nokia N95 ". Good luck!
