I’ll never forget the day: December 20th, 2019. It was my last day of school before Christmas break, and I went to go see this movie with my best friend. The beginning with Palpatine speaking to Kylo always sends chills down my spine when I watch this movie. Honestly, one of my favorite times I’ve ever seen a movie in theaters.
I had chills when I heard the Emperor’s laugh. I was like WHAT when I found out he was still alive. The entire movie theater gasped, the silence was so loud. I hate the new trilogy but damn was this movie semi decent
bringing back palpatine ruins anakins character because he fulfilled his prophecy by killing him so it just throws his ark in the garbage and it doesn't even make sense that he's alive because palpatine got thrown down a reactor shaft and it pretty much would have disintegrated him and then the Death Star blew up

The problem was that when everyone went to watch The Force Awakens, they felt nothing new or exiting from it. Disney had just stuck in a bigger Death Star. The main (and possible the only reason) people kept watching these was because they wanted to know who Rey was. Turns out Disney had no plan for Rey’s parents. They through the whole Palpatine thing at the very last second. THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING!? And Goege Lucas even offered to help them. But Disney said no. Luckily, Dave Faloni and John Favrou might some day make the rebooted sequel trilogy. “And remember kids, the Disney sequel trilogy isn’t canon.” -Mark Hamil

Where was Luke going dark when his wife was killed by solo's Son Jacen?? He was so angry, he cracked a planet in two and his son Ben was the one that brings him back to the light side.
