It took me almost the entire video to suss out what's written on Meredith's banjo, but I think I got it: "When your ship's full of treasure, you're bound to go down."

Just came across this video. Love this rendition. Travers City? I couldn’t find anything with you and Billy Strings. It seems like a natural pairing. Have you met?
This is great but you gotta work on your audio man!!! Her talking in the beginning is almost indistinguishable from the background noise Lol then the banjo is SOOOOO loud you can barely hear her Lol that's coming from a Kentucky boy who loves a loud banjo! Haha
I really like the job he did on this - not easy to mic this loud as F instrument out in a field with so many quieter vocal parts too. Super stoked with how it turned out!!
@@meredithmoon I agree, you sound great to me. Loud vocals balance with the banjo perfectly (edit: also, come on you can hear insects in the grass at the end! If that isn't a perfect mix I don't know what is!)
Fantastic!! Great Banjo playing!

Beautiful! Does anyone know what tuning it is in?
Standard double C.
@@meredithmoon You're amazing! It's always a pleasure to hear you play
Masterful harmonic twists, you do with Sadie as well. Shy minors pop up then disappear.
I wondered why I never heard of her.

Yeah this one was a bit difficult on the mix haha
