Nice colour mate. Getting close to your target. Half an ounce to go! I once cleaned out a boil hole, high up on a rock by the Root Hog, only as big as your fist and got half an oz out it in just a handful of wash. Another time my mate speced a half ouncer in Golden Gully. Love it up there man. You keep poking up that creek and you will have it in no time. Love all your stories as well mate. Cheers
You will find it up there on the plateau mate. More nuggets up there then bloody Sofala! Burrendong has been kind over the years as well as Stuart Town. I grew up near Ophir, still produces good colour.
The horse was the drover and prospector's good mate back in the day. It's good to see the same comradery between man and horse in the 21st century mate. Well done.
Thank you very much. It's a incredibly special bond that forms with human and horse after spending so many lonely hours together in the creek. Thanks for your comments for support 🙂
recently found your channel and what a gem i just found! Thanks for your relaxed rambling and gold fever. I too have the gold fever and don't get to satiate often enough so i turn to youtube. Thanks for the adventures!
I would have figured out a way to use that horse to pull that big rock out of the way. Maybe this idea will help you spark some better ideas on how to make that horse beneficial. Here’s to more efficient luck on those future big boulders. 😅
Great video!! Nice shinny chunky gold!!! Question.... Why don't you use yor horse and some straps to help you move bolders our of the way? It is better than breaking your back?? Just wondering. Stay safe out there.
Yeah mate I've looked many times but without success unfortunately so just keep doing what's getting me colour. I still dream of finding the source though 🤩
"ONYA CHAMP" a very impressive area to pan. It looks as though it's abit of a natural sluice along the creek your on. All in all congratulations in overcoming the rock obstacle. I'd love to bump into you one sunny day as I'm from Bathurst and I love my Gold prospecting.cheers mate &say G'day to Dollar for me
Overcoming that rock obstacle was a real moment for me!! I'm glad you enjoyed my video and won't hesitate to say G'day if we bump into each other in the legendary area of the tambaroora Creek!
Yeah cheers M8 I gotta long sluice with a hopper box on it,I can feed heaps through it now I've fixed it up to how it should be.But yeah it'd be great to see ya one day.cheers & give Dollar a nice pat for me
Man my river has been high for so long and i can't get across to the spots with all the best gold!!! I keep coming back there and every time the water is still too high to cross!! It's such a pain, and seeing you pull this kind of stuff out just makes me want to invest in a catapult or something... Because i can't stand sitting at home any longer ( damn county is diverting the flow INTO my river so it keeps it artificially high... and no end in sight!)
Great channel the dollar 💵 👍 and your gold was awesome 👌. New subscriber meteorite mac channel Derbyshire......here in England 🇬🇧 free meteorite's to anyone.....no catches FREE METEORITE'S

I could do just a bit more moving parts with bringing in equipment but will definitely use him if the need arises
That is some rough reefy stuff mate! Have you considered searching for where its shedding out from?
Yeah mate I've looked many times but without success unfortunately so just keep doing what's getting me colour. I still dream of finding the source though 🤩

Interesting gold mate.
Some super rough and some super worn.
Thoughts ?

Would have to be multiple sources mate.
Never ever found bugger all in the crevasses in Golden gully. More in the drift and the traps.
Help my brain this content is to good
Lol sorry big mistake Dollar the horse
You need a bigger prybar
Ahh it is a pry bar hey! When I got home I realised I'd have to live with the mistake of calling it a Jimmy bar all day...
Was there a coin in that crevice?
No the coin is just to help show a bit of perspective for the size of the gold.
@@thehillendgoldhunters498 yeah I figured that out after the second and third pans. Lol… great video though! Awesome spot!
This sucks crazy music
