@@ohthatsgold cheers mate! A lot of work at usual but really chuffed of the accomplishment
Sensational! Thanks!
Ive tried prospecting for gold. Just getting to isolated creeks is expensive, plus the backbreaking digging and panning, and your end result is $20-$70. End of gold fever!
@@JeffreyBrown-f4e that's is exactly what normally happens to the average prospector. It's when you get that lucky strike you get addicted again. But yes a hobby sport I agree
I’ve loved the whole journey, from digging up the gold to telling great stories to being able to get you and your wife’s wedding rings, it’s been fantastic, I can’t wait to see your journey, I think having a gold goal like you did was awesome for the videos it made it feel like a series
@@amazonian4789 thank you so very much! It's been quite a journey worthy of a series for sure 🙂
Pls adopt me

Thanks for always taking me back to hill end mate it’s my sacred place
Wow thank you for a ride down memory lane. I knew everywhere you went remembered rocks the road cuttings. I also knew all the mine shafts, Miners trails some of the old ruins of dwellings. It was my playground for most of my holidays growing up. I was born in 1956 went there up until the mid 70s. I only found out in recent years my Grandfather was born there in Hillend later to move to Tamber springs where Dad was born. We hunted rabbit for food. got some gold even picked fruit up near stream crosses the road. and found some great horizontal mine shafts. Thanks again.
@@peterwatt4438 wow! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
