Don't correct yourself on the use of "the other day". As a New Englander, I must inform you that the window for that term is yesterday to a decade or more depending om your age.
I added the Casio Royal to my edc this week… I have family members in different parts of the world and now I can easily check what time is it where they are. And for only 20 bucks, amazing. Blessings
Hi there. Came across your channel doing some research into edc options. I'm also using the mini webbed grid to hold my gear, which I've grown to appreciate for its compact form and adaptability. Previously, I had bought a maxpedition mini pouch but found that it could not easily close after adding gear. A few days ago, I came across a tactical 4 x 4 zippered pouch from Condor, which has loops for edc but also a zippered compartment and sufficient room to add the grid. This pouch has a lot more attachment points but still small... The extra webbing will work great for your additional gear and can accommodate your removable grid also. PS... I'm a Christian also and believe that God guided me to your channel. My tools are accented blue and look rather similar to your setup 😊 I enjoy camping and outdoors and wanted all my gear to be simple and organized when needed...kinda OCD meets EDC lol Have a blessed day
Thanks for the great suggestions! I have yet to test out the Maxpedition or the Condor. Great to talk to a fellow Christian. So glad you found my channel. God bless!
So very many folks showing their EDC. Have see very few that carry spare items to repair something. You need 4 blades? And 2 scissors? Consider a folding knife with locking blade. One good multitool, and (or) a boy scout knife is enough. Add a watch band compass. Add pair of goat skin gloves to that pouch. Exchange that blue knife for a multi blade screwdriver/punch. Exchange scissors for tin snips or wire cutters. Add gorilla tape, florist wire, bailing wire. Add the ACE Hardware multi mini screwdriver, looks like a sharpie type pen, (usually by the check out knik naks.) Add spare cheap folding reading glasses, if you need/use prescription glasses.
I have a lot of the other things on list in a toolbox which I store at home. 4 blades is overkill so I am thinking about replacing it with a multitool with a good driver. That should help to simplify things. I'll check out the mini screwdriver from ACE. Thanks for commenting!
I agree about too many knives, but probably disagree with where your mind is going in terms of a locking blade. The nice thing about his slip-joint knife is that it's not a one-handed fast opening tool and is less likely to scare normies. Because the normies are easy to scare. I saw some frootloop genuinely call the police because she saw a Victorinox in someone's pocket. I'm lucky she didn't notice me not 20 feet away with a Kershaw Blur in my pocket! Carry is an individual thing though, and backups (or specific purpose tools) are a thing. A little box blade can get gummed up with tape and dulled quickly by cardboard, but I don't care because I can just toss and remove that. My Victorinox Compact isn't in the too good to use club by any means, but I'd rather keep its blade clean and sharp for food prep if I have a little razor for boxes. That kind of thinking.
You have a very modest EDC, I hate to show you what I carry. The flashlight you carry is nice and functional but if you plan to go out late at night or an unknown area, you might want to carry something like the ThruNite BSS Saber 1015 Lumens AA Mini Flashlight Rechargeable. It only has two molds, bright and brighter! Comes with USB C rechargeable battery and it can use a AA battery at lower light output. It’s not much bigger or wider than a AA battery.

True, true!
I am a from the backwoods of Louisiana and I can confirm that it is the same here.
I like what you did with the handles on the Knipex
Thank you. I appreciate it!

Yes, it is probably the best watch you can get for $20. Perfect for edc. God bless!
Pretty dope edc will look into the tweezers 💯👌🏼
Thanks for commenting. The tweezers are great for edc!

Does the pouch fit in a pants pocket or a cargo pocket?
Yes, it does. That's why I like it but I wish it was a little bit bigger.

I have been researching flashlights and Thrunite has definitely popped up on my radar. It seems like a good option. Thanks!
That's the problem with adding gear. You end up needing a bigger pouch to carry it.
Yes, for sure! That's why it's a work in progress. I'm hoping to lighten my load but still be prepared. Thanks for your support!
