  • Abbi Berta of The Bead Place shows how to create a trendy and stylish triple-strand bracelet using colorful matte Delica seed beads. She contrasts the matte seed beads with a shiny metallic silver band in the middle of each strand. She shows how to crimp the strands to a three-strand snap clasp using a Magical Crimper. These bracelets look great worn alone or as a stack! All tools and materials are from www.beadplace.net.

    I added another 10 (I used round silver beads) to the center. I didn’t have the magical pliers but will purchase some because if you use crimp covers they crowd the rows. I will probably take the crimp covers off. Also considering attaching all the rows to a closed jump ring instead of the three hole clasp. Thank you for great details Abbi.

    One way to use up a lot of 11/0 seed beads. Which I have a lot of. I see my next project after my leather bracelet one is finished. These are too cute not to make. Except I have the other kind of clasps ends for them. They should work. Have ones with 3 to 6 holes on them. Did I say these are cute. ❤️☺️ I've never thought of using Crimps as beads. Second time I've seen that. I need to invest in some Bead stoppers.🙂

    • @AbbiBerta
      @AbbiBerta  4 года назад +1

      Thank you! The silver beads in the middle are actually silver Delicas rather than crimp beads. That way, they’re the exact same size and shape as the beads next to them.

  • @VaniaJacobs
    @VaniaJacobs 4 года назад +1

    What an adorable bracelet this is! I do have a question, I see that because these are Delicas They tend to kind of bunch up. Should we leave just a slight wiggle room so they straighten themselves out? Thank you in advance for the answer!

    • @AbbiBerta
      @AbbiBerta  4 года назад +1

      Thank you! Good question! It’s up to you! Even when leaving extra slack, the matte beads sometimes tend to stick a little bit rather than staying flat and uniform, but I think it’s a part of the charm! Leaving a little bit of extra room can definitely help though.
