Well, it looks like the guys have gone mega big into Thomas at Bo'ness. Thanks to the class 26 having two high intensity lights looking like eyes added above the central disc indicator, the shadow on the bottom of the disc indicator replicates a beautiful face on the loco! The lads at Bo'ness have done a cracking restoration on the unit. I bet they'd love to get their hands on the HSTs and do them up!
@BONESS27001 I am sure there's a set languishing somewhere. Have you tried Neville Hill, Burton or Long Marston? It would be interesting to see a set in LNER apple green on the two power cars and Faux Teak finish on the coaches. Showing up the fake LNER by how to do it! Or an even better novel LNER Silver and run it as the Silver Jubilee set to rival the Blue Pullman. I don't think anyone has painted an A4 Silver in Preservation.
Great catch, especially the shot of the Scotrail HST passing the not-so HST.
Thanks for your comment.
I'm the RailAdventure Shunter you see getting off the lead power car and in other shots. 😊
Hope you enjoyed my filming Jason ?.
Thanks for your comment.
I did yes very much and especially enjoyed the ScotRail HST coming past. @@BONESS27001
Interesting sequence of moves, very well filmed.
Thanks for your very nice comment.
26038 looks splendid, terrific paint job they've done on that
Yes, though it puts the Rail Adventure class 43's to shame 😢
I was thinking the same about the 43s.
Great video, strange seeing HST power cars hauling Mk1s
I agree, very strange but a good use of old locomotives.
Thanks for your comment.
Brilliant demonstration of how capable 43 is. A great subject for modelling too 😁👍
Some say :
"The 43s are Britains most successful locomotives".
Thanks for your comments.
Hi, that was an interesting watch, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your comment.
Very nice. I didn't even know that was happening!
The move should have been with SRPS loco 37403 but this is out of action for now with a minor fault.
Thanks for your comment Jimmy.
Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
Thanks for your comment Mike.

It would be great to get some HST power cars and stock at Bo'ness.
Thanks for your comment on the Class 26 Bill.

I like your thoughts Bill.
@BONESS27001 I've just suggested it to the Diesel group and mentioned and credited you by name and our discussion!
If HSTs were made for the Southern Region, this is what they would have looked like 😀
I agree.
Can you imagine HST's with slam door stock on the Southern ?.
Thanks for your comment Andy.
I heard that 37403 was meant to take the MK1's to the NYMR but unfortunately had a problem.
Great footage though
You are correct Alistair but 37403 has a couple of faults and couldn't be used.
Thanks for your nice comment.
It would have been cool to see the 43's on a diesel gala day pulling those mk1's
One never knows what the future may bring.
Thanks for your comment.
A mark 1 HST how cool is that.
Very cool and unusual.
Thanks for your comment Brian.
That looks so wrong but strangely so right!
I agree.
HST with slam door stock !.
Thanks for commenting Neil.
Do the HST cars now have buffers on the inside as they would usually need a barrier vehicle to protect them when not hauling a fixed rake of coaches?
The HST power cars are coupled to the Mark 1 coaches via the Buckeye auto coupler.
Thanks for your comment.
Nice 👍 captured these at NYMR
Thanks for your comment.
Just shows how versatile the HST’s are…such a shame that they are being scrapped or sent to Mexico and Nigeria
I agree, these can still be used in this country.
Thanks for your comment.
i dont know ho to feel seeing mark I coaches and the HST stock together it confuses the heck out of me lol
I agree its a weird combination, but it worked.
Thanks for commenting .
A Mk 1 HST! 😂
Yes and it worked ok !.
Thanks for your comment Andrei.
With no through connection the leading power car would be hauling the coaches on its own?
Thats exactly what happened.
This is why the rear power car had tail light attached.
Thanks for commenting.
Thanks for sharing most appreciated.
Thanks for your comment Bill.
which coaches are they? do you know the numbering?
The coaches are SRPS owned TSO 5028, FK 13229 and FO 3096.
Hope this helps ?.
Thanks for your comment.
@@BONESS27001 thank you! that does help!!!
what happened to the hst looks terrible.
The power cars were rubbed down for painting and the pressed into service before painting.
Thanks for your comment.
