Sean, I just stumbled upon this... I have been listening to you for years and i have to say all your covers are something else entirely. Something about hearing a stripped down killswitch song just gets to me, especially this song because it reminds me of my uncle, who got me into metal. We were close and he tragically passed away around this time last year. I still miss him all the time but hearing killswitch always helps me. How you play this... all your covers and songs.. it cuts right through me and makes me feel whole again. If im ever stressed out or depressed I just find your channel and after a few songs im better (like i did today). You do a beautiful thing, thank you so much for all you do brother.

I was just about to comment how I have this cool compilation video saved to my piano playlist snd it helps me relax and fall asleep, I just realized as I was commenting that its YOUR video 😂 "Chillswitch Engage" Also some of the other comments got me thinking on things and I wanted to toss my hat in too: Your music doesnt just help me sleep, but it has a healing quality to it. My life has been all kinds of bullshit since 2020 (even earlier really but especially since then) and your Chillswitch video has got me through some really sad and dark days. Something about it just feels like the piano itself empathizes with the pain or sadness or loneliness, and it really helps pick me back up, especially the way that it calms me down. My grandfather had a stroke in the summer of 2020 and was just starting to recover, Christmas day that year right after exchanging gifts he had a heart attack and died. And I had wasted the last moments I had with him being moody over a stupid girl who ended up hurting me anyway. Im still to this day trying to get over that guilt and the guilt of having wasted the last few months I had with him and having never apologized for being such a little shit when I was younger... Then, the day of his memorial service they found my uncle (who was like the older brother I never had) dead in his bathtub (autopsy says natural causes but he was diabetic so it could easily have been not-natural if you get my drift, he butted heads with my grandfather even more than I did and their relationship was always kinda tense as Inwas growing up) The number of times Ive had some unaddressed grief re-surface and I just laid in bed sobbing and then turned on your video and floated off into a melancholy peace/calm that ended up as a well needed nap, I cant thank you enough for that ability to soothe the pain of a bruised and battered soul ❤ Even now typing this I cant help but cry just from the intensity of the emotions, but this time its kind of a good cry, thank you for everything over the years ❤️

I found you through a chillswitch engage comp video and i fell into KSE metal all over again (it didnt help that i was in pursuit of someone at the time) but when my world came crashing down i sought this song as it embodies the crying i needed so much but tonight... ive been recently uncharitable to my feline bestie whom passed away December 23rd last year and i fell off of some characteristics to help me keep a "normal" routine and that pain is eating away at me as i type this because all i want is to hold her, give her kisses and lots of fuss not because shes just a cat but she was my bestie and my mums lil furbaby......
