Dude, its been a ritual for me at this point to put on chillswitch one in the background. This is beyond amazing I got a huge adrenaline rush seeing this in the sub box. Thank you.
I come back to these so often, and I think I finally figured out why. Usually with covers, I prefer the ones the artist *adds* something to the song, whether they do something that's their signature or they re-arrange it so it's their vibe/sound. I show up for the guitars, drums, and vocal insanity, not (please keep reading, this will make sense in a minute) "hey I can play it on Piano". And literally, that's it, that's the literal GENIUS move which pulls me back. By pulling everything back, a different life gets threaded through the music. The originals have always felt like they're grabbing you by the throat and pulling you *through* the darkness to get back to the light. These arrangements feel like they're trying to grab the literal ghost inside you and stuff it back into the living. I dunno, good words do time some, but that's kinda what it feels like. Both have gotten me through the dark, but I think that's the difference and why I love these arrangements in particular.
That's beautiful man. Much love for that. I've always tried to distill these songs into their purest form and then bring them to life in a new way. I pour my heart and soul into these pieces and it means so much to know that my work resonates with wonderful people like you.

I lost my best friend of 39 years this past summer after he had a short battle with cancer. Diagnosed and 4 months later he was gone. I only knew he was sick 5 days before he died. We lived for KSE and went to all of their shows. He was like a brother and was my concert buddy. He would have loved this. Honor those you've lost. Live for them.
I've been listening to your original on whatever work computer was available since I was still able to drive and working at a flower shop back in 2019. My best m8 since high school passed away in 2015 in a car accident but Killswitch Engage was one of the bands that we both listened to and it makes me think of him. Having these piano covers is not only fantastic music for drawing, or 3d modeling, or honestly just on the walk home, but also obviously deep music for when I am really in my feels. I've recently changed jobs again and finding out that this has been uploaded at nearly the same time that I've been given control of the work radio on my shifts is truly magical. Thank You, your work has touched me deeply.

I always come back to these tracks around the end of the year... This year has been especially tough for my family and I. This music always helps me to meditate I guess. You kept some very memorable melodies but also made it your own, great job! Really loved ending on A Bid Farewell. I always found it strange that the End of Heartache started with a song with that title but it fits the outro here so much better.
