THELDENIYA - VICTOREA RESERVOIR

Theldeniya town is located in kandy district about 20km away from the kandy city. This town originally located at a different location. It was submerged in water when building the Victoria dam. Remains of the old town can be seen in the dry season. (Iron bridge built over Hulu ganga, Ancient temple, Many foundation of destroyed houses......etc.)
During the dry season you can enter the bottem of the reservoir.
