The ego has never been an issue for me, but rather I was emotionally repressed and being autistic, I was always diving head first into knowledge. Now as a man I am reaching inside to release my emotions from the prison of my heart, stoicism comes easy to me but I am incomplete while I am not experiencing all that life has to offer.

Good timing with this video as I am struggling a lot with resentment and hostility of my daughter. It is hard to stay peaceful and cheerful when she aims for distance in disrespectful and hurtful ways... I find that it is easier to let go and be the bigger person with people who do not live with you and matter less to you. But I am willing to keep trying....for her and my sake
I think this needs to be taught to girls and women! I would have be less afraid to take risks and more at peace with myself. Oh well, better late than never! I think Stoicism should be taught to everyone, at school and at home.

Fortitude just means you can endure difficult people and times learning a different perspective and maybe taking a different approach. Virtue is it's own reward. Not the victory of others.
I love your channel and i love the fact that at the end of the video there is a summary of the main concepts explained. That is so usefull! Keep up the good work!
It is strange how being autistic has let me discover these lessons at a much younger age. I am a naturally defiant person so when my mom said not to do something I always asked why I could not understand why I should care about what random strangers thought about me. maybe it's more something taught generationally maybe all children were like me and I just resisted the culture. I was a pretty defiant kid either way tough getting a medical diagnosis for being defiant even. I'm actually quite proud of it.
After all of my research on self evolution I've realize the key to is to live consciously. I have studied all the topics you mention, taoism, buddhism, Islam, stoicism. The best thing overall for gaining perspective and doing the right things is Islam. However, I am still trying to figure out how to be more conscious.

Well done!! good on u for the control, awareness & compassion, it is not easy when things like that happen, but u obviously are the better person & look what happened....They know! & they learnt a valuable lesson & retreated, so continue with your utube channel, strength & rise high above!! Unfortunately the world is full of judgement & opinions, we r guilty of it also...
Take Care...🙏 Oh by the way im interested in the spiritual detachment, do u have any recommendations pls?
@@pure-pisces9470 Thanks for your comment mate, much appreciated :)
Regarding spiritual detachment I'm quite into nondual meditation teachers such as Adyanshanti and Rupert Spira, however, they can be a bit heavy to start with so Eckhart Tolle is pretty accessible to begin with
@@AwakenedMan You're welcome & Thankyou, I'm listening to Eckharts audio "The Power of Now" atm 🙂🙏
@@pure-pisces9470 Awesome man, it's a classic!
@@AwakenedManHi, Yes It was a classic, might listen to it again sometime, just to see if i can pick up on anything i missed👍🙂
What a time to go back to what really matters. Thank you for sharing!!
You have no idea how much I needed to hear all of this! Thank you so much for the wisdom and insight.
I do not care who likes me, who loves me, who hates me, who does not know me, who wants to know me. As long as people do not touch me nor interact with me, I do not care who feels what about me.
Lmao, why even bother writing this then?
Stoicism helped me so much, Now I do not mind people complaining about why I always bring my Medieval Cannon and Broad Sword with me
Im very grateful for these videos!
I found some of this very nice to hear, considering my father passed recently and I have managed myself well.
I'm very sorry for your loss.
@@katherineg9396 ah thanks mate. That whole bit back then was quite tough, but damn did i grit through it haha. I feel on top of it all now, it isnt as painfully heavy anymore for me.
Your channel deserves a bunch of awards. So empowering! Thanks 💞
In order to bring someone down you must first be beneath them.💪⚡🌋
This perspective is very helpful to me in my current state of living as well as any other point in my life. Thank you for this useful contribution
Favorite video of yours I’ve seen so far. Apropos wisdom for my current situation, and for long after. Thank you for sharing 🌱
I've been living my life with somewhat stoic beliefs without being aware of it for a while now. Your channel makes the best philosophy videos on youtube, next to pewdiepie lmao. The last line you said "The less we care about things that don't matter, the stronger our determination will be." This is really accurate and really well put. The problem for me is that I cant seem care about some of my highschool courses that I know will never ever be of importance. Pros and cons to the lifestyle haha
I love this channel, it's helping me a lot in this quarantine!
I just started listening to stoic philosophy and videos in the last month. It has really relaxed me, and made me think a lot different than I used too. I'm going to practice this mindset everyday and try to be the best I can be. Thank you for this inspiring video keep up the good work.
This channel itself is a source of tranquility & peace of mind that is much appreciated.
What I really love is the simple & non-judgmental way it encourages people to accept the harsh reality of the world but also honestly study themselves & seek self-improvement for a happier life.
Keep your true self in place... Stay the course... There will be roadbacks... But your road will eventually work for the better...
Dude, you one of the best man. Really enjoy your videos. Thank you and much love from South Africa
Dear Einzelganger, It’s being a long time I’ve been a soulful fan of your contents! Its being a constant treat to remind your conscious-self, your inner soul! Thanks a lot, Einzel! Be blessed!
Your work has taught me more about life than school ever did. I really appreciate these videos. Keep it up👍
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this channel
I find that Stoic philosophy shares some of its tenets with Absurdism. So grateful for your content!
One should worry about things within the bounds of it's control. One of the virtues of stoicism.
This channel and Persuit of Wonder are two of the most important channels on this platform in my opinion. Thank you for the videos you make, countless people find inspiration and hope through your work.
Truly helpful and amazing videos, thank you for sharing helpful information 🙌
Listened to Your excellent lecture some time ago. Just this evening I realise how well put it is according to my own adversities/believed adversities. From my heart: Thank You for Your help ❤
I always say to others that how other people see me in any negative way is no longer my problem. Lol. I have a coworker said to me "fix ur hair, u look crazy." and i said "well, thats not my problem." where deep inside i dont really have the energy to do so because i was going through something.
@bruce banner easy for u to say.
So glad I found this channel. Thank you for this
I've started to get to know myself trough philosophy and you've been a big help.
Ignore anything that doesn’t serve you
This should be taught in school, especially to the boys/men! Putting this on loop right now.
I think this needs to be taught to girls and women! I would have be less afraid to take risks and more at peace with myself. Oh well, better late than never! I think Stoicism should be taught to everyone, at school and at home.
Your videos are amazing sir. They're so peaceful and insightful. I especially appreciate your use of calming music and imagery. These videos will be great supplementary material to my stoic learnings. Much thanks 👍👍
Indeed other peoples options only hurt if you let them and if you don't you find out they are powerless over you. They only have power YOU give them
Fortitude just means you can endure difficult people and times learning a different perspective and maybe taking a different approach. Virtue is it's own reward. Not the victory of others.
Thank you for this! Need it to get thru my stressful job
I love your channel and i love the fact that at the end of the video there is a summary of the main concepts explained. That is so usefull! Keep up the good work!
This is pure divine msg ♥️
Does Msg stand for Mobile Suit Gundam? ☝🏾😅

Your channel motivated me to start this channel. I am becoming more productive now. Never stop. Love.
I really appreciate this information, these philosophies and world views are known to me, but not so in-depth and well explained, thank you!
I could listen to your voice all day.

Amazing as always, and just when I needed it. Thank you.
Thank you, I really appreciate the fact that you make such amazing videos on philosophy, I really needed this.
After all of my research on self evolution I've realize the key to is to live consciously. I have studied all the topics you mention, taoism, buddhism, Islam, stoicism. The best thing overall for gaining perspective and doing the right things is Islam. However, I am still trying to figure out how to be more conscious.
I've found living in truth to be the answer. Honesty. What is the highest good.
