Slovenia's umbrella doctor weathers the economic storm

While most people think that a damaged umbrella means you have to buy a new one, umbrella repairer Marija Lah has spent much of her life proving them wrong. Founded almost 60 years ago, Lah's family shop in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana is one of the few remaining umbrella repairers in Europe. "Everything can be repaired. I think I can repair 98% of all the umbrellas I receive," says Lah.
