That's amazing. Love to play in that region and your strategy is top notch. Idea picks are correct and expansion is correct. It was a shame Ottos bypassed defender of faith but oh well - no game is perfect. The thing I can think of adding is:
    1. Release Riga as vassal - they have this amazing mission that gives them a massive boost as long as they have no more than 5 provinces. To enable them to take it - dev Riga to 20 and build workshop, fort, marketplace and barracks. Then release while you are at stab 3 and divert trade. Diverting trade will enable them to take the mission for free cathedral and stab 3 which they inherit from you on release will allow them to take the final mission and get the boost - they are a truly powerful vassal.
    2. Finland - conquer then release with the mission as PU while still Muscovy.
    3. Move capital to Circassia region - Novorosyisk by the black see is a great choice. You can fabricate claims on day one since you already have neighboring claims in the Golden Horde. Novorosyisk is technically in the Persia region, which will allow you to set up trade companies in Crimea, Astrakhan, Novgorod, White Sea, Kazan and Kiev VERY EARLY ON. This can dramatically boost income.

    I've said it before
    I'll say it again
    And I'll say another thing
I don't think I'll ever understand how you're able to play the game like this
But I really want to learn how to do so

Actually i have a very similar strategy but that involves a very small detour to your strategy. You fight into hordes. reach timurids very early. From here, you take all timurid land you can, give them to vassals. just have the required provinces to form timurids. then boom => swap to uzbek culture, reform timurids, annex entire persia region vassals for 0 cost. voila, you get your powerbase back from all the destating you did in russia. Timurids gives you perma claims all the way into mesopotamia and caucasus. a very cool move you can do in between these wars is to make sure you have 50-50 split on orthodox and sunni dev so you can swap religion 4 times so all sunni nations have +200 relations with you. (GOOD bye coalitions in sunni kingdoms, this includes all muslim kingdoms in india also). Make sure to have requirements for forming georgia as well so you can swap to georgian culture post clicking timurid mission for -20% CCR for 10-20 years. georgia gives additional 10% ccr for 20 years, warscore cost reduction . Now you have almost maxed temporary ccr , with deus vult. You could switch back to orthodox religion (i did by integrating byz , bulgaria and lithuanian minors now. STate all of persia for manpower and taxes. FLING yourself into India with these bonuses. 100% every major indian nation. those 10years with max ccr is where you go brutal ham on everyone.
One advantage of going via timurid mission tree and sunni religion is that you can just swap to hindu religion via decision [swap to sikh via decision, from religion tab, swap to hindu] rather than development in hindu region.
