It's nice to have when you're working through a piece of music and the book isn't constantly wanting to close back up forcing you to grab a tuner or metronome to hold the pages down, especially on a music stand that has limited space.

Malcolm - When someone is learning how to do speed or sweep picking, what is the best way to build up speed if you hit a wall? I have tried playing to a metronome but get "topped out" 20+ bpm short even if I practice for weeks. Is there ever merit to just trying to play fast without a metronome and cleaning up the technique later? How do you build speed if you hit a wall? I bought the tab books but can't play fast enough 😂
