Wow it has really changed, over the years the last time I was over in Tucumcari was over 40 years ago before Interstate 40 came through. The first time I went to New Mexico with my Mother, Father and Sister was in 1961 on Route 66. It is interesting to see these videos as you travel Route 66.
I’m born and raised in Albuquerque, been here 30+ years and I had no idea the Tinkertown Museum existed. Thanks for teaching me something about my city lol.
he really did a great job, I like how he show's some of the lesser known cool things about our state. You could live a whole lifetime here, and still not see everything.
Wife and i drove across country from the Shenandoah valley VA to Green Valley AZ. We stopped in tucamari NM to spend the night. Had the best breakfast at kix on 66.
Wouldn't be a great day without you two and Jordan the Lions adventures, good, clean fun and it's all real, thanks for staying true and proving you don't have to act fake to entertain, safe travels my friends
Thanks! I did Route 66 in 1995... pre internet. We had so much fun start to finish. Found ourselves on a few dirt roads and dead ends, and even a big steer in our path at one point. Chicago to LA, had to drive East first. Sent postcards to friends and family, met some characters at various post offices. We got our kicks!
Loving every minute of this epic trip, Adam. (That Tinkertown was awesome.) You're witticism is so cool. 👍👍👍👍You and Jacob, each promoting the other's tshirt, SUPER. Love the way you each visit the same places but approach them uniquely. WE GET TWO PERSPECTIVES. You make a terrific team. Stay safe and thanks so much for letting us hitch a ride.
Remember Tucumcari NM from when I was a kid on our road trips!!!Dad took us thru here on this route to our camp cabin in Colorado. We would be traveling in the old Packard or Rambler.
Love that you left your mark on that sign with the letters that were left behind. And that museum at the beginning was pretty cool👍. Love the sound of old neon. ❤️
Day 5. That was a good day. I would have spent hours in the tinker town museum. I also can’t help but think how back in the 50s and 60s what fun things there were to do on Route 66. ❤️
Thank you for your humor and all of your inviting places that you are featuring. Planning a trip in May will be heading down route 66 from Albuquerque heading east, as we did the Arizona section 2 years ago. Thank you for sharing things have no idea were in existence
I way 10 in 1964 and my dad was re-stationed to California (Army brat). We drove 66 to get there. I still remember all the neon and road side attractions. Brought back memories. Well worth a tee-shirt.
Tucumcari was in a song by Little Feat called 'Willin'.... I always wondered where that was! I have crossed over route 66 in my travels, but never rode the whole thing. I hope you guys have an amazing time! Stop at the Cadillac Ranch when you get to Texas! Amarillo! You two have to eat at the Big Texan!!!! Love you guys!
I was gonna say I hope you guys filmed more of the neon signs lit up at night. Thats really when Route 66 becomes pure magic is when those things light up. Tinkertown was more awesome than I thought it would be. Can you imagine if that place was the setting for a Night at the Museum movie and all those characters came to life at night?
Family used to own the ARUBA Motel Best Western years ago in Tucumcari. Was a rental horse stable behind it with a Cowboy called Homer who ran it. Also climbed Tucumcari Mountain and found a huge Dinosaur footprint in the rocks. Did know until I placed my hand on it and was hard to spot and sure it is still there. If you come up the back of the small mountain there is initials from 1912 inscribed on a small rock ? Do not remember the initials must have been early seventies when I lived there. As a boy used to have a friend that parents owned the Blue Swallow Motel.
I lived in Stanley and Morairty New Mexico when I was a kid. The route 66 was the only means of travel..no interstate then. New Mexico has a magic that draws you to it !
Absolutely brilliant! I love how you comment on every detail. I cracked up at the end when the kid was chasing something that was blown away in the wind. Perfect!
Adam, I live in New Mexico, a place called San Ildefonso Pueblo. If your ever in town again, look us up! You go places I've never heard of here! Thanks, I'm heading to the Tinkertown Museum as soon as possible.
Awesome! We just went to New Mexico and Carlsbad, rosewell and even went to the billy the kid museum and grave site. Rick on and have an amazing adventure
Great video. I love the nighttime neon signs, especially how you were able to capture the sound they make, really cool stuff. Safe travels, friend! All the best!
Great vlog Adam. Looks like you and Jacob are having a blast. I've really enjoyed this project. Looking forward to more antics along the way..... I appreciate your tireless efforts and sacrifice while on the road. I also appreciate your friendship, and letting me hang out with you again today. Take care Adam. I'll see you tomorrow..... Arthur Childs, Oak Harbor, WA.
That Tinker Town Museum is the most incredible thing I've ever seen! How did you pull yourself away from that place?! Also, what "blew away" from the kid at the end? Looked like a boombox?!
Once again you have made the joy of travel as educational and entertaining as can be…. This is some of your finest work… Keep it up! Certifiably Awesome
The Route 66 train is a rollin' ! Did you see yesterday's adventure ? ruclips.net/video/CUWTKsLDvlg/видео.html

Don’t you have friends who show you around

you and jacob are definitely in your "happy place". Like fascinated kids having fun. Keep enjoying yourselves because I am enjoying it for sure!
I really enjoy the like country and run-down towns that Route 66 passes, really reflects a time gone by.
I'm just imagining a horror movie where everything in Tinkertown comes to life.
MUCH scarier than the Walking Dead!
I am having so much fun! Thanks for taking us along. 🚘

Tucumcari Tonite! Tucumcari has the best hotels, people, and the BEST restaurant ever.
Gosh, the neon signs are so pretty.

Albuquerque native and big fan Adam. Have a safe trip
Love that you left your mark on that sign with the letters that were left behind. And that museum at the beginning was pretty cool👍. Love the sound of old neon. ❤️
I worked for a while in a high-energy physics company. The sound of corona warms my heart. And everything else if you get too close to it. :-)
Another Route 66 vlog of great merit!
The hours spent creating the animation and modeling in each display is unreal.
One of your best Route 66 videos so far. Very fun to watch. Please drive safe and keep these great episodes coming.
You caught the end of the musical highway, the "...from sea to shining sea" part technically. You should have pulled a U-turn and tried it again!
I came home from work and a new video from the Woo. That's great. 😃😃👍👍
Day 5. That was a good day. I would have spent hours in the tinker town museum. I also can’t help but think how back in the 50s and 60s what fun things there were to do on Route 66. ❤️
I LOVE NM!! I MISS ALBUQUERQUE!!

Thank you for being so delicate and kind to my beautiful state. You should create a part II in Albuquerque.
Hey😍
LOL! I just noticed you guys were wearing each other’s T-shirts. 🤣👍🏼
Aww.. also noticed “Adam The Woo” on the sign?! 🧐😃
I way 10 in 1964 and my dad was re-stationed to California (Army brat). We drove 66 to get there. I still remember all the neon and road side attractions. Brought back memories. Well worth a tee-shirt.
Over the last 5 days I've learned that Jacob and I have very similar tastes in food. "Whatcha get?" "MEAT."
I want to go to The Tinker Town Museum. It looks amazing!
In my 200 square ft city apartment. All of that open space is zoinking my head. Groovy America.
I half expected to see Pee Wee in the big top area of Tinker Town. Also, that ending was one of the greatest things ever.
I am lovin this route 66 vlog ! Glad you're documenting it before it's gone.
I'm not alone in saying that this series rocks Adam! See you tomorrow!
Thank You so much Adam for taking us along. You motivate me to take a trip to some of these areas.

Tinkertown is awesome. Glad to see you guys filming in New Mexico. Great episode!

Apart of this made me think of The House on the Rock in Wisconsin. I recommend it. It's pretty cool.
House on the Rock is awesome! I would love to see him at Wisconsin Dells too. It's right up his alley.
That abandoned trailer park was an old Coal Mining Camp (town) around Gallup. People were squatting in a few of the trailers.
Tinkertown looks amazing! So cool and magical. I love it.
I love raw reality, I don’t even need an acid trip.
Thanks for the video Adam
I love to see Adam back on the road. as long if he is happy

Adventures by George I think a foil platter blew away..
It is pretty cool.
Why arent you on the road with the boys?
Imagine trying to build a structure with glass bottles these days? Not enough glass, have to use plastic.
Tinker Town is up N14 Sandia Park. Way off from Route 66.
Once again you have made the joy of travel as educational and entertaining as can be…. This is some of your finest work… Keep it up! Certifiably Awesome
