Nice foggy woods. I love the Massachusetts forests. I grew up in the Northern Conn. River valley of MA. The laurel in some areas is almost impossible to navigate. Good luck to ya this season.
While in the Army at Ft Devens Mass I bought a 45cal TC Hawkins rifle, killed lots for different things with that gun and won many turkey shoots. That was in 1972. Great vid, brings back some memories.

These guys hunt Vermont, NY, NH, Maine, Mass and wherever else they can get time off from work to go. They do the same thing in every state. They put thousands of miles on their trucks every year just scouting big woods so that when the season rolls around, they aren’t wasting time. Mass isn’t better, this is just where their preseason work led them to make a video that day. Most of us stumble onto a spot like this, don’t see the deer and move on. Or else hunt for years, get great pics and video of some beautiful buck and then can’t seal the deal. These guys don’t just find the spot, they read the day and then think on their feet in ways that might work 1 in a hundred times for me… not for them… they jump the buck, hit the grunt tube and run just the right direction and distance and end up with the shot. Then they do the next big thing…….they don’t miss. No tree required. Hit the button on the camera, snap the gun up and let her roar. Any state can provide in just this way if you make it your business to be the best. That’s what these guys are doing. A lot of people are good at some pretty cool things. This is what these guys are good at and it’s darn fun to watch.
