John G. Lake was greatly influenced by John Wesley and like Wesley sought complete sanctification unto the Lord. John G. Wesley would take up the mantle of healing from Alexander Dowie and then become a pioneer for Pentecostalism. Lake was an “egalitarian, racially inclusive leader.” His ministry which took him from Chicago to South Africa and finally to Spokane was one that demonstrated the power of the Holy Spirit. His revivals were extraordinary with thousands getting saved, healed and delivered. To say revival is a divine assault on society was clearly true with the ministry of Lake. During his time in Spokane, it was declared the healthiest city in America
John G. Lake brought a revelation not just of healing to the Church but also that we were called to walk with dominion by walking in and by the Holy Spirit. He preached a message on how we were to live a supernatural life and experience all Jesus bought for us on the Cross.

In 2014 Jesus healed the nerves in my back from a herniated disc that had deteriorated to bone on bone. It happened during a time of repentance and testing. I'm 58 now and work hard labor jobs like a young man. I long for the former and latter rain outpouring so the final gospel with power is preached as a witness unto all men before the end comes. I appreciate the time you take teaching the truths of these men of God's lives so we can draw closer to Jesus and eventually and undoubtedly see even greater works than Jesus did because he said it would happen. Some of John G lake great grand children use to be in the same high school as i was, also attended the same church as i did early in 2003.
SPO- CAN... doggone it, I was saved in the church Lake established in Spokane (SPO -CAN). In 1974, under the ministry of his former worship leader/youth pastor Ray Kirschke, I got saved during the Jesus People/ Catholic Charismatic movement. What an awesome time!!! (and the best is yet to come!!!!!)

John Graham Lake was convicted of “Blue Sky Fraud,” which landed him and his son Otto in jail. He used his church as a platform to sell stock to his parishioners from his mining schemes, even swindling $1000.00 from one couple.

I first learned about John G. Lake on year 1990 when it happened I buy a booklet and saw there the miraculous life of John G. Lake when he was in Africa burying the dead africans in a graves by his bare hands and the germs of bubonic plague died when came in contact with the hands of John G. Lake as it was observed by a doctor in a microscope !?
Does anyone know of a good biography book on his life?

This is wonderful to hear. There's a course of `Divine Healing Technician ' of JGL you can take. It's wonderful and full of God's word and clearly shows us and teaches us how we are to be on this earth as in dominion and what we are called to do.
