I will tell you one life-hack... You have said that the cutted potato is need to be kept in a WARM water for 3 minutes. Nope, try to keep in an icy cold water, then the fryer will suggest automatic temperature 180 degrees for 15 min instead of 160 for 30 min, and your potato should become more crispy.
I have this exact Philips Airfryer. I DON’T recommend using the Sensor Technology function at all, I think it cooks a lot better just on regular manual temperature settings. I used the Sensor cooking ONCE and I personally found I cook frozen chips better with manual temperature setting of 180degrees and cook for around 10 mins with half a kilo of frozen chips. When I cook with manual setting, the chips look a lot nicer and more golden without the burnt edges of chips.
I lost the booklets that came with mine. I need the cooking manual for individual ingredients. Philips does not provide this which is very disappointing. I’ll have to purchase one, make copies then return it, I guess. Do you know of a source where I can find the food list?
Have you tried using it with perforated parchment paper made for air fryers? It reduces the need to clean the machine but I wonder if it would also restrict the airflow.
YES this does emit a lot of smoke if I cook a large whole meal (ie. chicken or steak),hence why I never use the air fryer for this purpose. This always sets my smoke alarms off when I cook a large meal. I mainly use the air fryer for small snacks and easy meals, such as chips, frozen mozzarella sticks, frozen fish fillets etc. I did cook some beef and pork meatballs the other day, using the baking pan, those turned out nicely done, after stirring twice throughout the cooking process.
Hi I didn't understand the setting for the whole chicken...can you explain it here please which digits you pressed to get it to cook it on its own without selecting anything
I have this model. It’s fantastic. But I only cook small easy meals in it, such as frozen chips, Frozen battered fish, boiled eggs (instead actually boiling the eggs in water). I made some Beef And Pork Meatballs in it recently, using the baking pan/tin, which turned out nice and delicious. I don’t recommend using the Sensor Technology function thou, I think the food cooks a lot better on manual settings.

Did not need to …. It was present …. Purchased in Australia
96% of the planet uses celcius. The US is so old fashioned lol
