Actually no-nonsense video quickly covering all the details and actually using the product. Its an absolute ghost town out there for this particular air fryer and Im glad you made this video. I just went down to Myer to suss it out and they dont even have it in stock anymore, basically online only in SA... thats gotta be telling. Anyway, subbed 👍
Thanks so much. Will pass your message to my daughter who put in hours to record and edit this video. I would suggest keeping an eye for Black Friday coming up for a big discount. Amazon Aus also regularly have them on sale. Picked mine up for $450 over the last sale.
Superb. Exceptional review. Extremely well thought out covering probably every conceivable question one might have before buying this air fryer. In fact I will probably buy one over the weekend (was undecided before this review). Top class presenter too, clear voice and clearly communicated, bravo 👍 Indeed I might say one of the best reviews around, even better than a Choice Magazine test. Happy New Year
Today it came to me wrapped in a kind of inner thick cardboard box with the device printed on it. I was expecting a green printed box, in foil, but it was just taped over. The familiar brochure envelope was also missing. What I don't like very much is the noise level. I put my mobile 20 cm from the device 2 fans and 180 degrees. I was getting 67-68 db. 1 fan 60-61 db. I wasn't expecting such noise. I put it in place next to the fridge in our small kitchen and it didn't even measure 72 db. Basically, no big deal, the lady on the info line will arrange for a pickup and refund. I just don't know whether to pursue a new piece or if it's a feature of fryers. I'm wondering how you guys are doing? Is there a quiet fryer on the market? Thank you.
@LazyAwesomeDad have you received the meat thermometer in the box or purchased it separately as an accessory? We just got one today but no thermometer in the box. Where did you got yours? Thanks!
Hi Alex - there are 2 models. One with and the other without the thermometer. I bought the unit with the thermometer. Slightly more expensive. I believe Philips will be selling the thermometer separately in future but not sure when. Hope this help. I do have a wired thermometer (another brand) - I will check if it works and let you know
My experience with Philips airfryers are that they are difficult to clean and overpriced. This version seem no different. I have tried much cheaper alternatives (Ninja, Xiaomi and Cosori), they work just as good but are significantly cheaper and are also much easier to clean.
@@CocosBoss007In what sense? My point stands, Philips airfryers are ridiculously overpriced for what they offer and are very inconvenient to wash. There are other alternatives that are more much more affordable, provide the same functionality but is much more convenient to use and clean (which is my priority).

@@LazyAwesomeDad Cheers 👍

Great review and voice, thanks for the video
Thank you so much. I will pass youur message to my daughter. She will be so happy to hear especially after she spent so much time to edit this video 🥰
Thanks for this video. I will seriously consider one if I can get it at a good price on Black
Friday 👍
Good luck to you. Let us know how you went 👍
We use a paper filter for our air freyer and save the interior for not getting greasy. 🙂
Great tips thanks - I recently bought some but have not been using them yet.

@@LazyAwesomeDad Ordered Cosori Turbo Blaze. Let's see.
@@LadislavSudek hope it suits your needs. All the best
Thanks for the video. How do you like this model so far compared to the prior models?
So far so good but too early to tell. I have not tried too many of the functions yet. After a month of so, I will let you know
Will you still choose the newest model “combi 7000” over the previous (more good looking one) “smart sensing “?
Is it worth the extra dollar?
Hi sorry for the silly question but for manyal cooking..the airspeed.. which one is the higher heat/speed? 1 fan symbol or 2 fans symbol? Thank you
2 fans speed. How you finding your air fryer?
2 fans speed. How you finding your air fryer?
@LazyAwesomeDad so far i really like it. Its much better than the xxl i had previously
Greetings from Poland :) Do you perhaps know how the HD9875/90 differs from this model apart from the display and the lack of a thermometer included ?
What about the app, any good?
The app is good and improving regularly. Lots of recipe and connects to the unit easily

@@LazyAwesomeDaddid it worked?
They only make XXL and not XXXL👀
I know it is confusing. On the Australian website, they called it xxxl but on the box it says xxl - marketing ???

Which airfryer is the easiest to clean in your opinion?
How about you rest your steak
Too hungry 😂
Overpriced and completely devoid of any sort of useful instructions.
🥳
It’s a waste of money and the older one with sense have same function. It was my opinion
It is expensive and waited for it to be on sale at 40% off to buy mine. They do regular sales over the year. But you have a good point 👍
@@LazyAwesomeDad40%? Guess you bought it for pretty cheap then, around 250 euros for this?
