Doll is in these unique pods despite how they worded their product to sound very clickbait to say every mystery ball has a new surprise.

If this box was at “grandma’s house”, and a little one could unbox 1 or 2 each visit, it would be absolutely exciting for a child. Or a reward box for doing chores, doing nice things, etc. The box would go a long way. I would have loved it.

That's actually a really good idea as a reward system for a kid 👏❣️ although how bummed would they be if they only opened up 2 pairs of shoes & no doll 😂 it could definitely work, tho
100% I love that Idea but I think the real issue for me was the fact that not all of them were as special. Maybe the character in the plastic ball but the accessories could've been in the activity balls
Love it for a cool mystery thing for the odd occasion but PLEASE never ever make a reward system for chores! I work with kids and if you do that it actually is much less helpful than just making it enjoyable to participate!
And all the plastic is perfect for lining the ocean floor
The extreme use of plastic they have used is shocking. I hope it is recyclable plastic 😬. They could’ve reduced the size of some of the capsules especially the shoe/jewellery ones

For those wondering why surprises wouldn't be allowed in some places: it's considered "gambling" in those areas, which isn't legal for minors (or even at all, depending on the country).
I wish it wouldn't be allowed in every country. Would be nice if all companies put codes on the back so you could tell which one it is.
Edit: LIke I imagine I I would go around a shop with my kid and they will like one of them. Then I would buy the one they wanted, by checking the code first. Boom, you have a surprised kid. Or if I had the money and they liked all of the models, I would try to get a set without duplicates. (If my kid would behave :D)

Mann I wish this was the norm... even as an adult there's nothing I hate more than surprise / bling bag toys. I don't find it exciting. I find it annoying. I want to know what I'm buying with my heard earned money, the idea of gambling and buying some mystery item you might not like is only exciting to kids who don't have jobs lol

Yup, like in belgium, Lol surprises are actually banned if they don't have a partial distribution (so no rare, super rare and those things like that), and sets are more common to find because they advertise what's in it

I first saw that milk carton on one of the zodiac lols that I always assumed it was because in the Chinese Zodiac there is no Year of the Cat. ( like in the fruits basket anime)
I hate these little dolls so much, but I watched them for you and your reactions! Not disappointed! What is disappointing is the price of this set. Given the different materials I'd say MAYBE $60 at most, but $150?? That's a scam.
Same girl...same!!! They are just unappealing to me. I think sure they are cute but uh huh lol no ty. I love cutsie kid stuff even though I'm 42 lol however I just never have thought these were appealing. I think It's the way the clothes go on, that it's all just hard plastic and they don't move well that really turns me off. The company does do amazing with their packaging because I can't lie there's been a few times I've almost been sucked in and bought some just because the fun and colorful packaging draws my eyes in lol.
I love squishmellows, tiny stuff like the resin make it mini stuff, ty stuffies and nostalgic stuff like care bears, popples, rainbow Brite and strawberry shortcake.

2/ That they cheaped out on the unboxing and 'half pods' and
3/ That they thought it was worth $170 😂😂😂

I think a little bit too expensive. Maybe $80-$100 would be better. But honestly everything costs so much now days. And dolls of any kind are pricey. I think it's actually a pretty cool set, and I think a kid would love to have so many things to open up. It would be exciting. I do hate that there is such a waste of plastic just to make it look like you're getting a ton of stuff for your money. You don't need containers that big for such small items. If I was a parent I wouldn't want a huge bunch of fizzy bombs, gel goop balls and kinetic sand. Too much of a mess, so I felt it was the right amount of those types of things.
It's only $80 at target and on my Amazon 🤷♂️

It's usually $100 on Amazon, I got it on Black Friday for $60. But today is the Sunday after Black Friday & it's currently $55. Tomorrow is Cyber Monday so it might be even cheaper by then.
Man that is a LOT of packaging for something that can all fit into a box maybe a 20th the size, lmao. If you're using more plastic than the item actually in the container, that says something (looking at that necklace)
Milk cartons in the states used to have photos of missing kids on them. This started in the 1980s.
I don't really like these dolls, because I don't really get the aesthetics of them being like toddlers, but dressed up like adults, but at the same time, with all the different hairstyles, it was fun to watch what you'd get in each box. But the super high platform shoes were absolutely ridiculous.😂
Totally agree on the aesthetics. I’ve always been a bit confused about what age they’re actually supposed to be, but dislike kids being dressed as mini adults (unless it’s something like formal wear for special occasions).
I did love the platform shoes, though. I (briefly!) had a similar pair as a teenager, just plain black and maybe about a third of the height. I got rid of them because I was scared I’d break an ankle 😂

@Leena79 um no. "Watermelon color hair" it's considered racist to completely correlate a POC with that sort of thing? There was a scandal that Crash Bandicoot did when they had a recolor of the female bandicoot calling it "watermelon" with her having a darker color pallet.
Jackie, the bottle with "missing" is actually a milk carton. At one time missing children's pix was put on milk cartons.
For a set that pricey it looks like a random bag of toys you'd get at a thrift store for $5-$10.

Personally, I watch because I like her personality. And I like that she does these unboxings so that parents purchasing for kids, or collectors purchasing for themselves, can see whether or not the product is worth their money.
I check every few weeks to see what Jackie had put on here, then just watch which ones I like the look of. 😁
Since the plastic domes have different molded textures, you can probably use those with kinetic sand to make textured domes which seems like a kind of fun thing to do especially if you have more kinetic sand than just what you get in the box. Seems like you could also use the larger ones in crafting somehow, like to make a little dimensional scene inside for kids to make Christmas ornaments. There's probably other things people can come up with for using those.
They have this set available in the U.K. for £67 around 112 Canadian, I think that price is worth it when you consider how much you pay for the individual dolls with accessories and then add the unboxing elements to it
I love watching Jackie cause you never know what she's gonna say. Like calling the roller skates, roller blades and saying that the outfit with the purple devil emojis all over is cats instead. I love her so much and she never fails to make me laugh. I'm literally on vacay rn (Seeing my bf in person for the first time) and I told him to hold on so I could watch this video. XD

I never liked this company or the dolls, I've always complained about the amount of plastic and how crazy it is. For a long time it seemed they were getting better and they seemed to of fixed things, so its crazy to see them somehow go back to being bad again.
For a while mga seemed to be really trying to show their customers that “look we care about what you have to say! We listen”, then they apparently decided to stop trying at all, which is a shame. The one time I contact customer service about a messed up rainbow high skirt though they were very nice and sent a replacement one, so that was cool

You can tell him a lot of awesome artists and engineers have ADHD if that helps. I'm sure in plenty of other professions it's a thing too I just know a LOT of people with it in both. Also another RUclipsr you might enjoy checking out that has ADHD and does resin craft is Ayeshashasha if that is interesting.
I remember when I saved my allowance for MONTHS to buy the little pet shop house. It was HUGE and came with pets and it was $50. Now toys are sooo expensive and just don’t seem worth it 😢
Holy Moly that's expansive I saw it at my workplace but that was only like 95 euro and I thought that was overpriced for this. L.O.L. stuff is so weird I get that the clothes are plastic but the gaps bother me so much.
I agree - I’m curious as to how many end up in the bin after being played with a few times. But they have to put in the plastic mannequins anyway in case the future trash gets ruined inside the plastic pods :/
I hate the cheap plastic clothes..they look horrible and there are dolls you get by other brands with REAL clothing that looks so much nicer as there is no spaces in the outfits and due to being real clothes they have more depth and layers ❤

The dolls are in the splits as they would not fit in the plastic balls otherwise. They fit in the length of the paper but not the ball.

There's no way this stuff is worth more than 60 if you get rid of all containers ad gimmicks. I also think the designs have always been pretty lazy. They have different skin tones and hair but they are all basically the same. Kinda like how a lot of Pop figures look the same if they are human shaped.
