I'm a little confused why my last reply was taken down but I will post it again. I was saying it could be a new song, but I don't know. Neil is on another album released a few years ago under the name "Black Hearted Brother". Slowdive did a reunion tour in 2014 and are supposedly working on a new album. They just released a new single in the last few weeks.
The lovely opening song DIGGING SHELTERS features during a very poignant part of a very fine indie movie entitled ENOUGH SAID.... It was JAMES GANDOLFINI's final film.
The same thing Neil mentioned before Martha's Mantra (29:00), he said in another concert in Rome before he played 'Elevenses'. Now I want to see the commercial! :D Link: ruclips.net/video/MSauBUS5V5c/видео.html

Don't get me wrong, I love Slowdive. Great shoegaze stuff. But that project is a dwarf compared to Neil's solo work and Mojave 3. Those are just surreal.
Neil ever mentioned in an interview about this guitar, it was made by a friend from where he now is living at Newquay, Cornwall UK. His friend is a surfboard maker, but never made guitar before; this guitar was a gift from this friend, and was ever used in making the album Palindrome Hunches.
my life in art is a damn good piece
Rhythm exactly
Thats our Nick Drake.

What's the song at 11:00?
Haven't figured that out yet.
I haven't been able to find any information on a new album. Has there been any news I've missed? Could this be a new song?

I never heard of it , my guess... Black Dog
briliant songwriting, perfect melody.. .this guys is a genius
A perfectionist at the top of his game. I like how Halstead is a bit nervous here...Never thought I'd see that! :)
I love this guy. His simplicity and artistic flares speak to me.......Go on Man, keep riding along a peaceful road. XXX
The version of My Life in Art here gave me goosebumps.
I love Mojave 3...great to listen to him playing these pieces solo live
Criminally Underrated!!!! I love Neil Halstead!
Wonderful from a great songwriter and performer
A true poet and such a gift for writing beautiful music
I don’t think it’s possible to be cooler than Neil.
Martha's Mantra version on this concert is absolutely brilliant!
would be great to see him tour USA.
Thanks for sharing this. Neil Halstead is an absolute genius songwriter / performer.
My favourite musical artist. Thanks for posting this.

For someones first guitar they built, that has beautiful sound.
Wow... 'My Life in Art' and 'Oh! Mighty Engine' are spine-tingling...
This has inspired so many folk colabs between him and Guilmour in my dreams !!
Lovely :)
he's funny. great show. thanks for uploading
Love the guitar sound…. and that 3rd song is incredible.
And I'd love to teach him French....anytime! :}

LOL, come on. Slowdive is the main project. Solo is the cherry on top.
I love mojave 3
If someone could write down the times for the songs, as in when they play, that would be great
Done..
When it's in tune that guitar has beautiful chime. You can really tell it's handmade. Does anybody know if he has recorded any solo stuff with it?

Tuning at the beginning?
Sounds like 2 guitarists on stage?
It’s sounds so good
For the love of god, has anyone figured out the song at 11:00?
айлаяк
This guy still tours?
hes probably in a tour playing on Slowdive now
I wonder what guitar tunings he uses?
Neil uses the open C tuning on a lot of his songs :). Its: CGCGCe
@@daanooms9059 interesting
Jack Black stole his looks 😂
That audience is so low energy
"You guys are very quiet...it's very scary" LOL they have no idea what he is saying hence why all his jokes fall flat :(
