CuForming is a project of passion born from our love for both science and crafting.
Since 2018, we've been exploring the fascinating world of electroforming, where we merge the wonders of electrochemistry with geology, botany, zoology and the artistry of crafting.
Copper, with its versatility and beauty, is our favorite material to work with, and our designs are inspired by the intricate textures found in nature.
Through experimentation with chemicals, various materials, and the electroforming process, we create unique pieces that celebrate the intersection of science and art.
With inherited skills in electrical engineering, painting, sculpting and materials assembly, and the curiosity about new technologies such as 3D printing, CuForming is where science meets creativity.
Love your method Acrylic paint 4g to 1g graphite powder and a teaspoon of water works wonders too and much cheaper
Thanks so much 🙏🏼

I LOVE TREES! <3 <3
Incredibly useful video! When dipping the part directly into the paint, how thick does it dry up? Does it leave visible drops/clumps?
Love a Tree
What solvent and sealer have you used? I have tried different methods, using 1.alcohol 2. Acrylic paint. But with these the copper would flake off…
Can you provide a link to where I can buy the solvent and sealant? The recipe is a bit vague.
I love tree 🌲
I'm a tad confused at what ive done.. soooo I was anodizing parts that's how I have gotten here kinda..... Anyway decided to try electro forming my own 3d prints for the RC parts so I can annodise them or something alike .. I can definitely... Definitely make the solution and I certainly can get it to electroform onto the graphite.. first attempt was a miniature base and it was really rough intentionally.. I wanted to see how hard it was to get the hard areas to coat... It come out bolooosy great and all I did was finger polish it and give it a real quick once over with a micro fiber ..... Now when I anodise I end up with copper spikes all over the aluminum rods...... Today I tried to do a ring.... I cannot get it to stick to save my life and ita bloody shinner then before and the current and voltage even seem to line up better... Haven't checked the resistance but by looks this should have gone waaaaay better I did it to the letter 😅😅
